INTRODUCTION t o IT Presentation By : Sir Yongki Iswo , M.Kom Note : You can Known The benefit Of Information and technology

INTRODUCTION Information technology (IT) is the study and use of computers or any kind of telecommunications that store, study, transmit, send, retrieve, and manipulate data and information. IT is a combination of the people, software, internet, and hardware that automate and perform core, essential tasks within an organization.

01. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY BENEFITS FOR EDUCATION Online learning Online learning is one of the cheapest and most convenient ways used by students who wish to further their studies, thanks to information technology. Learning platforms like Moodle, Blackboard, and Zoom meetings facilitate virtual learning and allow instructors to communicate with their students without face-to-face interaction. Besides promoting engagement, these resources help scholars to manage their time and become more productive and organized. PowerPoint presentations PowerPoint presentations facilitate effective learning by enabling instructors to introduce classroom concepts. Teachers use slides to present ideas that require graphics. In addition, they encourage students to work in teams and document their findings in PowerPoint. These activities promote active participation in classroom activities.

Virtual examinations and grading Information technology enhances effective test administration and grading. In addition, systems like PowerSchool enable teachers and administrators to post grades and analyze every student’s performance. Education management Learning institutions can use software like Listserv to track learners’ progress. The technology allows teachers and parents to interact by sending and receiving important updates about upcoming school activities like academic days and discussing their students’ welfare.

02. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY BENEFITS FOR BUSINESS Information technology benefits everyone personally, from the way you shop to the way you gather information. It plays an important role in organizations, too, streamlining processes and keeping your business connected and running smoothly. Let’s look at the advantages of IT as they affect your business. 1. Increased Data Security IT has forever changed the way businesses store files. It is safer to store information in a secure computer database than to leave it (and lose it) in physical files. One of the advantages of information technology is the ability to  encrypt data , to require  authentication  to access it, and to lock it away under layers of security so bad actors can’t easily get to it.

2. Information Technology Can Help Your Business Save Money One of the biggest information technology benefits will be seen in your organization’s bank account: IT saves businesses money. How? IT can increase productivity by streamlining processes. Routine reports and tasks that would traditionally require manual research and documentation are available at the click of a mouse. IT will save money on postage. Seems a simple concept, but the old days of physical mailers are a thing of the past. Email is faster and more efficient than standard postal solutions. IT saves money by simplifying, migrating, and outsourcing high price functions such as payroll, supply chain purchases, and even customer support.

3. Information Technology Benefits Communication We discussed saving money by not having to send physical communications through the mail, but consider this:  cloud computing  now allows your employees to communicate with each other, with customers, and with the world. Smartphones and  VoIP  have cut the cord of traditional landlines and allowed unprecedented freedom for employees to work from anywhere, and email is an instant interaction that gets immediate answers. You can communicate with customers and prospective clients via social media and targeted ads, and, thanks to information technology, you can sell your products to a much wider audience than ever before.

4. Improved Productivity Your workplace will see the advantages of information technology in increased productivity and efficiency. These advantages include : Instant access to files Immediate feedback on collaborative projects Videoconferencing and real time communication Project management tools Do-it-yourself portals for payroll, password management, and more Automated processes and data analysis Faster results and faster task resolution

6. Achieving Coordination and Uniformity With informational technology, tasks can be organized, coordinated, and uniform. It’s far easier to follow procedure when there  is  a procedure, and information technology provides a framework for tasks and projects that everyone on the team can follow.

03. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY BENEFITS FOR HEALTHY Over the past 20 years, our nation has undergone a major transformation due to information technology (IT). Today, we have at our fingertips access to a variety of information and services to help us manage our relationships with the organizations that are part of our lives: banks, utilities, government offices — even entertainment companies. 1. Cancer treatment with gene therapy  Treating cancer by changing the DNA of cancer cells or the body's immune system. For example, editing genes to slow the growth of cancer cells or improving the immune system's ability to recognize and kill cancer cells. 2. Robots for surgical operations   Robots with mechanical arms controlled by surgeons to perform complex surgical operations with high precision and greater stability. For example, the da Vinci robot is used for prostate surgery, hysterectomy, and heart surgery

3. Diagnose diseases using medical images Analyze x-rays, CT scans, MRIs and other medical images using AI techniques such as machine learning to detect or diagnose disease. For example, diagnosis of lung cancer, heart disease, liver disease, and so on. 4. Monitoring the health of pregnant women and fetuses Monitoring vital signs of pregnant women and fetuses using health monitoring devices installed on pregnant women. Can detect pregnancy complications such as preeclampsia or fetal growth disorders early. Allows timely medical intervention to improve maternal and infant health . 5. Early detection of infectious diseases Analyzing public health monitoring data to detect early spikes in infectious disease cases. For example, detecting flu outbreaks, measles, dengue fever and other infectious diseases before they spread widely. Allows for faster disease prevention and control measures
