5. History ... Song Ci (1186–1249) was probably the first forensic scientist. He recorded all the known forensic techniques at the time in his book known as the Collected Cases of Injustice Rectified . Paul Zacchias was also one of the earliest figures of medical jurisprudence, with association with the Papal States and Catholic church... Zacchias was the personal physician as well as legal adviser. His most well known book, Quaestiones medico-legales (1621-1651) established legal medicine as a topic of study.

The term Medical Jurisprudence plays an important role in justice of human, finding exact cause of death of deceased person by means of autopsy & different types of medico surgical examinations, etc ...

9. Forensic applications ... Forensically it deals with the application of scientific medical knowledge to the administration of law, to the furthering of justice, and to the legal relations of the medical practitioner. Forensically it addresses the physiology of dying, the cause and time of death, and postdeath phenomena. The key goal is to provide objective evidence of cause, timing, and manner of death for adjudication by the criminal justice system.
