Nigeria is the most populous country in Africa, with population estimate of 206,139,589 people as at 2020 according to UN data. T he seventh most populous country in the world

There are 250 ethnic groups in Nigeria. The 3 largest according to geographical locations are: Hausa/Fulani (29%) - North Yoruba (21%)- South West Igbo (18%)- South East The Hausa/ Fulanis are predominantly Muslims, the Igbos are predominantly Christians while the Yorubas are a blend of both. Most spoken languages in Nigeria English, the official language. Hausa. Igbo. Yoruba. Ibibio. Edo. Fulfulde. Kanuri, Tiv , Idoma , Igala etc. 9/1/2021

9/1/2021 Abacha and ugba refers to a cassava-based dish native to the Igbo people of eastern Nigeria. Also known as African salad, it’s a two-part dish made with dried shredded cassava ( abacha ) and fermented African oil bean seeds ( ugba ).
