TheInternetofThings(IoT),alsosometimesreferredtoastheInternet
ofEverything(IoE),consistsofalltheweb-enableddevicesthat
collect,sendandactondatatheyacquirefromtheirsurrounding
environmentsusingembedded sensors,processorsand
communicationhardware.Thesedevices,oftencalled"connected"or
"smart"devices,cansometimestalktootherrelateddevices,aprocess
calledmachine-to-machine(M2M)communication,andactonthe
informationtheygetfromoneanother.Humanscaninteractwiththe
gadgetstosetthemup,givetheminstructionsoraccessthedata,but
thedevicesdomostoftheworkontheirownwithouthuman
intervention.Theirexistencehasbeenmadepossiblebyallthetiny
