IQAC -Objective To develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the institution. IQAC -Functions Development and application of quality benchmarks/ parameters for various academic and administrative activities of the institution; Facilitating the creation of a learner-centric environment conducive to quality education and faculty maturation to adopt the required knowledge and technology for participatory teaching and learning process; Collection and analysis of feedback from all stakeholders on quality-related institutional processes; Dissemination of information on various quality parameters to all stakeholders; Organization of inter and intra-institutional workshops, seminars on quality-related themes and promotion of quality circles; Documentation of the various programmes /activities of the institute leading to quality improvement; Acting as a nodal agency of the Institution for coordinating quality-related activities, including adoption and dissemination of best practices; Development and maintenance of an institutional database to maintain/enhance the institutional quality; Periodical conduct of Academic and Administrative Audits and its follow-up Preparation and submission of the Institutional Information for Quality Assessment, (IIQA) Self Study Report (SSR), & Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) as per guidelines and parameters of NAAC 5 IQAC-MEC 7/3/2024

IQAC- Plan of Action The agenda of the meeting would be to review academic policies for the effective implementation To develop a monitoring system for quality assurance practices To coordinate the process of online feedback from students about the Teaching-Learning process in respective classes and communicate the assessment of the same to respective faculty members and Department To prepare a detailed Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) at the end of the academic year and submit the same to the Governing Body To organize Academic Activities as per the guidelines given by the Governing Body/ Academic Council of the college Preparation of a list of faculty coordinators/conveners for various committees and cells, to plan the activities for the academic year To conduct the meeting of faculty coordinators for various academic tasks to discuss the plan of action for their respective responsibilities Preparation of mentor and mentee list at the department level and distribution of mentoring registers along with guidelines to follow based on attendance, performance etc To coordinate the process during NBA, NAAC and KTU Visits 7 IQAC-MEC 7/3/2024

IQAC- Plan of Action To conduct the meeting of the cell at the beginning of each academic year. Key points - to note Faculty shall prepare series test question papers and assignment questions in Etlab , adhering to the format suggested by the IQAC. Faculty shall enter the split-up marks of the series test in Etlab immediately after finalizing the marks to avoid errors during semester-end entry. For courses with multiple COs in a module, equal weightage must be given to all respective COs in the question paper. The question papers must be thoroughly scrutinized in advance by the department scrutiny committee and then forwarded to the internal exam cell by the scrutiny committee convener. Faculty must be familiar with terms like cut-off criteria and benchmarks regarding attainment calculations in Etlab . Faculty should be well-versed in the attainment calculations performed in Etlab . Faculty must be familiarized with all available features in Etlab . DQAC Coordinators must inform all department faculty members about the decisions made in the IQAC sub-committee. Faculty conveners of various college events must prepare a report on the event, including the list of participants, geo tagged photos and details of chief guests if any. A copy of the report must be submitted to the IQAC after the event. 14 IQAC-MEC 7/3/2024
