1. STEPS FOR OPENING IRCTC ACCOUNT

Step1:- Write IRCTC.com ( Indian Railways Catering & Tourism
Corporation) by typing or voice command on google.co.in Google
is tool for searching anything worldwide on web).Now below
mentioned page will opened on screen.

Step-2: Part-I is concerned with existing users of IRCTC, so left it.
Part-II is for opening IRCTC account .At first Click on –sign up. A
detailed form will be opened. For clear view I have put detailed
form in three individual sections.

i) Now fill all required data in detailed form. (A valid email id &
mobile no. is essential to fill above detailed form.
ii) Now fill confirmation code received on mobile no. or on
alternative mail id & submit it irctc site.
iii) Your IRCTC account will show to you.
iv) Fill Travel details such as traveling starting point & Destination
point & journey date & class (1A,2A,3A ,CC,SC, Sleeper etc) &
at last click in search.
v) Availability of seats will be shown class wise in your desired
train.
vi) During booking the seats all details such as name,age,sex,Mobile
No. for ticket will be filled in form,
vii) Then you will be able to book your ticket by using Net banking,
Debit/Credit card of any bank or by e-wallet such as airtel
money, paytm, payumoney etc.

4. viii) At last details of booked ticket wiil come on mobile as massage
with all details. This is your virtual ticket but valid only with
original Photo Id such as Voter card, Driving Licence, Aadhar
Card or Photo Id card issued by Govt. Organisations,
ix) Now log out your account. For signing it again write IRCTC on
google.co.in & log in Part-I & become member of Indian
Railway Transport system.



Optional Help for Filling IRCTC account form
Following information has to be filled for IRCTC account.
i) Username -for [email protected])
Normally there is a email id on every name, so for user name you
will combine two names (means your name with
frds,wife,child,years of birth, house no or any other digit)
ii) Security Question- list of question is following
a) Your mother name
b) Your pet name (Childhood name)
c) Name of your first job posting city
iii) Your answer
Note: Security question is concerned with case of forget
password or user name,in this case IRCTC will ask you answer
of security question. So always fill correct answer. Otherwise
you will not answer correct answer in above case , so your
account will be closed.
iv) First name- for example-sonu,
v) Last name-for example-monu)
vi) Gender- Male/female
vii) Martial status – Married or unmarried.
viii) Birthday- Mention your birthday with month & year.

5. ix) Occupation- Employed, Businessman, Student, others.
x) Aadhar Card No- It is not compulsory.
xi) Email id- For example [email protected]
xii) Mobile no.- Give correct mobile no, which is with you at time of
IRCTC account opening, because before account opening IRCTC
will sent confirmation code on this mobile no. After filling this
code your IRCTC account will be confirmed & opened.
xiii) Nationality- Indian or others
xiv) Address- Fill full & Correct address with name of Country,
Pin/Zip, State, District,Landline phone (if any or left blank),
xv) Copy residence address to office- Yes/No (For personal use of
IRCTC click on yes. But for official use click on no & fill full
office address.
xvi) Entry the text image in box- Write in below mentioned box.
xvii) Other services
xviii) A) IRCTC newsletter- Yes/No (Its your choice not compulsory)
B) Commercial promotions- Yes/No (Its your choice not
compulsory)
C) Please inform me about SBI card through phone- Yes/No
(Its your choice not compulsory)
At last submit the form Again go to mentioned email id & here a link
has been sent. Just click on this link ,you will be directed to IRCTC
site. Now fill Confirmation code which sent on mobile no. After this
your account will open on irctc.co.in. Then you will able to book your
ticket. Now logout your account.
