Activity: paint me a picture Mechanics of the Game: Form a group, there must be 10 members in one group. The facilitator gives a certain situation (ex. Birthday Party) Using only your bodies and personal effects, the groups illustrates the scene. Choose a leader to explain your picture. You will be given 10 seconds to illustrate the scene. STOP If you here the word “FREEZE” everyone should freeze. The group that has most beautiful concept will gain a point.

Value the importance of safety signs and symbols in awareness of hazards. 3. Remember and apply the safety signs and symbols in to prevent accidents and damages.
What is Safety Signs & Symbols? The use of symbols and graphical images is a simple safety systems used to convey safety messages at a glance Colours and symbols appropriately used can provide information and warnings of hazards which are essential to safety at work, and in some instances may be independent of language.
Safety colors Safety red: Fire Danger Stop SAFETY YELLOW CAUTION SAFETY GREEN SAFETY SAFETY ORANGE: WARNING SAFETY BLUE NOTICE
RED - it is the color of DANGER and PROHIBITION . It is used for Fire Safety Equipment Emergency stop buttons Flammable Liquid
YELLOW - Signifies CAUTION or a WARNING . It is used for Potential Hazard Caution Sign Warning Sign
GREEN - Represents SAFETY and DIRECTION . It is used for: First aid Equipment Emergency exits Safety instructions
ORANGE - it is used to warn DANGER and POTENTIAL HAZARD . It is ude for: Moving parts Construction zone High voltage Equipment
BLUE- represents MANDATORY Instructions and Information . It is used for: Mandatory signs Information signs

PROHIBITION SIGNS A “Prohibition Sign” means a safety Sign Prohibiting behaviour likely to cause a risk to health or safety. Prohibition safety signs generally use a black safety symbol in a red circle with a diagonal cross through. They are RED in colour .
MANDATORY SIGNS Are regulatory signs which indicate that an instruction must be carried out. They give a positive instruction. In other words they tell you what to do rather than not to do. These signs are in BLUE colour
WARNING SIGNS A warning sign is a type of sign which indicates a potential hazard, obstacle or condition requiring special attention which, if not avoided, could results in death or serious injury. They are normally triangular but can be other shapes. These signs are YELLOW.
INFORMATION ABOUT SAFE CONDITION SIGNS These signs tell safe conditions people of safe places to go or. Related facilities (exits, first aid, safety equipment, etc.) These signs are in GREEN colour .
FIRE SAFETY SIGNS Fire safety warning signs , fire exits, and fire fighting equipment are also covered. They require employers to provide specific safety signs whenever there is a risk that has not been avoided or controlled by other means . These signs are in RED colour
