JOBS & TITLES ALIGNMENT CHALLENGES LTEA had 16 managerial levels, SE had 9 Some titles were common, but not necessary same job roles Titles used differently to justify career tenure & employee growth Standardization would have to applied to 12000 employees of the merged entity
Strategy-Transformation Strategic Alignment- Initial 1 year will continue with the existing structures for culture assimilation Due Diligence -Impact on individual earnings/finances is the least & acceptability increases Integration Planning – a) Sharing the value system org wide in determined sessions & recognising the demonstration of such behaviours. b) Jobs to be evaluated, Pay Bands to be created Integration Execution-a) Organisation wide communication of introduction of new bands & Titles b) Execution to be done in phased manner starting with bottom of the pyramid- lower management level
