The cases are drawn from the files of RV Metropolis, Bangalore.

3. Case History Case 1 63/F. Left Parotid Tumor . Superficial parotidectomy done. Clinical diagnosis ?pleomorphic adenoma Gross - 2x2 cm homogenous grey-white nodule.   Case 2 51/F. History of lesion over scalp since 12 years; O/E - ulcerated area with pus and blood. Gross - elevated nodular and ulcerated mass 6x5 cm with uniform grey-white cut surface. Case 3 55/F. Right radical nephrectomy specimen. CT Scan : Upper pole mass . Gross - Circumscribed tumor confined to kidney, at upper pole 4x2.7x2.5 cm with pale yellowish surface.  

4. Case History Case 4 31/M. Firm mass excised from left popliteal fossa. Gross - globular, well encapsulated grey-brown mass, 10x6x6.5 cm with grey-white solid areas having specks of hemorrhage . Case 5 38/F ,Excision biopsy from tumor in masticator space. Gross - multiple fragmented tissue bits, grey-white in appearance with areas of hemorrhage .   Case 6 48/M. Extended hepatectomy specimen. Cut section revealed a grey-white tumor with areas of hemorrhage , of size 11x7x8 cm.

5. Case History Case 7 33/M. Ruptured tumor from right kidney. Gross - Multiple irregular yellowish and dark brown pieces of tissue, largest 7x3x2 cm.   Case 8 77/F. Radical nephrectomy specimen from tumor in upper pole of right kidney. Gross - well circumscribed tumor of size 4x3 cm with yellowish and necrotic areas on sectioning. Case 9 28/M. Specimen of right testicular tumor . Gross - Circumscribed tumor 5x4.5 cm encircled by rim of normal testicular tissue; with grey-white cut surface having hemorrhagic foci. Case 10 56/F. Left ovarian cyst. Gross - cyst with intact smooth surface, measuring 25x23x17 cm. Cut section - 3 liters of fluid drained. Areas of papillary excrescences seen in inner wall.
