3. About KOD… Kingdom of Dreams is India's first live entertainment, theatre and leisure destination, It is located in Sector 29, Gurgaon in NCR Delhi, near the Leisure Valley Park. It was inaugurated on January 29, 2010 by the Chief Minister of Haryana and opened to public on September 18, 2010 by Union Minister of Tourism, Kumari Selja.

4. Contd… The opening showcased a special preview of the Bollywood musical,  Zangoora , starring Hussain Kuwajerwala, Gauhar Khan and Kashmira Irani. Spread over 6 acres (24,000 m 2 ) and built at a cost of over Rs. 200 crore,  Kingdom of Dreams  is run by the  Great Indian Nautanki Company (GINC) , a joint venture between Apra Group and Wizcraft.

5. How it came… The company behind the lofty project of `KINGDOM OF DREAMS` is The 'GREAT INDIA NAUTANKI COMPANY‘ (GINC). GINC is a combined venture of Wizcraft International Entertainment Pvt. Ltd ., Apra Group of Companies and Raghbeer Group of Companies . The mission of the company is to develop first-class venues of international standard for Indian performing arts, to develop captivating theatricals and musicals of highest quality which will showcase and promote Indian culture and performing arts and last but not least to capture the imagination of international as well as domestic tourists.

6. WIZCRAFT Wizcraft International Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. is a renowned world class company in the field of entertainment and communications since 1988. It is headed by its three founder-Directors: Andre Timmins, Viraf Sarkari and Sabbas Joseph.

17. SOME HIGHLIGHTS….. IIFA BUZZ CAFE The IIFA Buzz Lounge, a Bollywood-themed resto -bar on the first floor of Culture Gully. It also showcases Bollywood memorabilia, the IIFA Awards trophy, movie costumes and posters. It was launched on September 1, 2010 by actor, Salman Khan.

22. The entrance to the gully and décor is  inside is dominated by lotus motifs. Another highlight is the 110-feet figure of sleeping Buddha at the entrance. The canopies, tassels, framed tarot pictures on the ceiling and ample use of red gives the tarot room a very mystic and surreal feel. The Lucknow restaurant has ½-cm mirror pieces in gold and green that has been hand-pasted on the walls and ceiling. Kingdom of dreams is an attempt at bringing different cultures of India together . Each carries its trademark – Punjab with a colorful truck and cycle rickshaw Mumbai with the dabbawallas, clock tower and old movie posters Kerala with the houseboat Rajasthan with the overdose of royal colors and so on…..
