Cataloging Process STEPS 1 Scan the Barcode of the book (ISBN) Check if the title exist in stock Add copy/copies if there is an existing title of the same book in the stock Create a new bibliographic entry if the library does not have the same title in the stock. Save your document STEP 2 Generate spine labels for the book/books Generate Barcode labels for the book/books Fix the labels on or in the books Book is ready for shelving and borrowing
