Define Ethics It is a Greek word ETHOS= custom, habit, character. It is the branch of knowledge that deals with moral principles . It is well-founded standards of right and wrong that prescribe what humans ought to do in terms of rights, obligations, benefits to society, fairness or specific virtues. It is a core of everyday life.
Moral Values Moral values are the standards of good and evil, which govern an individual’s behavior and choices. Values are the criteria for determining good and bad, fair and unfair, just and unjust.

( Core Values : Compassion and Caring, Integrity ) Principle #2: Physical therapists shall be trustworthy and compassionate in addressing the rights and needs of patients and clients. ( Core Values : Altruism, Collaboration, Compassion and Caring, Duty)
Principle #3 : Physical therapists shall be accountabl e for making sound professional judgments.
