10 Best Lamborghini Cars

10. Diablo GT1 Only two of these were ever built; one was sold to JLOC in Japan for racing in the annual Japanese GTC (since 1997) and the other remains displayed at the SAT factory. This two-door coupe was actually built for mass production, but Chrysler didn’t move on it and after Audi bought the factory, the GTC series was put to rest in favor of the newly-developed Diablo Gt and GTR.

9. Mansory Carbonado Apertos The Mansory Carbonado Apertos is another Lamborghini success. With the Mansory trademark use of matte carbon fiber for the car’s exterior, the detail that is also put into the interior is nothing short of spectacular. The black and yellow leather is gorgeous – add the incredible, unique stitching pattern and this auto is in a league of its own. This auto was made post VW buyout and it’s clear that Mansory is definitely recreating the Lamborghini brand.

8. Mansory Carbonado GT Introduced at the Geneva Motor Show, the 1,600 hp Carbonado GT showed off its panda colored body to great acclaim . What starts as one model, the Aventador LP700-4, turns into a completely different auto. The biggest changes come in the body panels, which are made from carbon fiber, and the fenders . Complete with a 6.5 liter V12 engine, Mansory suggests the modified engine is responsible for its performance – its top speed is 230 mph and can go for 0-60 in 2.1 seconds.

7. Pregunta Concept This one-off hypercar , was the last car made by Lamborghini before the VW purchase and the Audi brand took control . Built in 1998 and introduced at the Paris and Geneva motor shows, it was likened to 1960’s fighter jets. It’s top speed of 202 mph is powered by its 530 hp v12 engine. This car was made to be driven, unlike some of the other Lamborghini concept cars.

6. Reventon Roadster This gorgeous Lamborghini Reventon Roadster was introduced at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show. It was the most expensive Lamborghini at the time and clocked its highest speed in Dubai at 221 mph . Only 21 of these cars were made; 20 for sale and one for exhibition in the Lamborghini Museum. Evidently the car’s limited edition numbers are stamped between the driver and passenger seats. This mid-engine, four-wheel drive auto has a 6.5 liter V12 engine and a 6-speed manual transmission. The name reventon means “small explosion”.

5. Aventador J This is another one-off Lamborghini and was built and introduced in 2012. The Aventador J looks like a piece of art and it comes with an interesting story. When Designer Filippo Perini was interviewed by Top Gear, he confessed that this car was designed and built in six weeks . Yet, this auto is completely road-legal and made from the most sturdy components. With a 6.5 liter V12 engine, this baby goes up to 185 mph. Although it debuted at the Geneva auto show, it was prepurchased by an unnamed Lamborghini aficionado.

4. Sesto Elemento Concept This spectacular Lamborghini was shown at the 2001 Paris Auto Show. It’s futuristic design uses sharp features that create an even zippier look to this V10 570 hp auto that screams up to 185 mph with its six-speed transmission . The “Sixth Element” (Sesto Element) is named after carbon’s atomic number – as the car uses carbon fiber throughout. If you’re interested, there are 20 other units that were later produced in 2011.

3. Egoista Concept The Egoista was presented at the end of Lamborghini’s 50th anniversary drive. The drive was a part of the celebration in which 350 Lamborghini’s participated. Stephen Winkelmann , head of Lamborghini, unveiled this model called, Egoista – meaning selfish, thus the auto seats only one . This concept car was designed by Volkswagen design chief, Walter De Silva, after the Apache helicopter. It’s 5.2 liter V10 engine is what powers this solo auto experience.

2. Veneno The Lamborghini Veneno is not a one-of-a-kind. It’s a three-of-a-kind hypercar that has a name that means “venom” in Spanish. If that tells you anything about the big-bad performance of this car, here’s the stats to back it up: 6.5 liter V12 engine, 740 hp, 0-60 in 2.8 seconds, speeds up to 220 mph and a 7-speed semi-automatic transmission

1. Lamborghini Veneno Roadster Last fall, Lamborghini unveiled what was considered to be the most expensive car in the world, the Veneno Roadster. This is a limited edition hypercar (only nine) that is designed like a race car but with road legal parts and construction. This “ hypercar ” drives up to 221 mph, which is almost as fast as a Leer jet. It’s a 6.5 liter V12 engine and goes from 0-60 mph in under three seconds. Oddly enough, this auto can never be driven on a rainy day, as it comes sans roof.

Thank you…
