Warnings

Excessive diuresis can result in
dehydration and reduction in blood
volume with circulatory collapse and
with the possibility of vascular
thrombosis and embolism, specially in
elderly patients.
Excessive loss of potassium in
patients that receive cardiac
glycosides may precipitate digitalis
toxicity.
Slide 11
Warnings

Some side effects for example an
undesirable drop in blood pressure
may impair the patient’s ability to
concentrate and react and therefore
constitute a risk in situations where
these abilities are of special importance
(e.g. operating a vehicle or machinery).
