So, what does a TUG leader need to do? EXPECTATIONS BE SLACK FIRST This is the way we communicate, collaborate and connect with other leaders. Think Slack first, email second. USE THE TUG LEADER HUB (BEVY) You use Bevy to host your events - we use it too! All TUG leader quarterly calls and leader training sessions and resources are held on Bevy ALIGN TO THE CODE OF CONDUCT TUG leaders must align with the Tableau Community Code of Conduct ORGANISE 4 EVENTS PER YEAR Plan, promote and execute 1 event every 3 months - publish your first event within 4 weeks of onboarding

How we support you and set you up for success WE’VE GOT YOU ! ENABLEMENT We strive to help our TUG leader be better leaders. We create content, host calls and share insights on Slack and on the T UG Leader Hub SWAG All qualifying groups will get Swag store credit that can be used on on a microsite for leaders REIMBURSEMENT We’ll reimburse you for venue hire/catering. The reimbursement tiers are shared later HELP & SUPPORT Use Slack whenever possible to get support. The TUG Workspace gives you access to other Community leaders too!

TUG Leader Hub Your “one stop shop”

What is the TUG Leader Hub? The TUG Leader Hub is where we host and share quarterly TUG Leader calls as well as share helpful videos and content. After your initial onboarding the TUG Community Team will give you leader access to the page.

Reimbursement Details on process located in the Guidebook Note: SWAG is given to qualifying TUG Leaders as a store credit. The next opportunity for Swag store credit is in January 2025 Reimbursement Tiers Virtual : (meeting is hosted virtually): $100 USD In Person : In-Person Tier 1: (2-25 RSVPs): $350 USD In-Person Tier 2: (26-50 RSVPs): $500 USD In-Person Tier 3: (51-100 RSVPs): $750 USD In-Person Tier 4: (101+ RSVPs): $1,000 USD Hybrid: [X RSVP In-Person Tier] + $50 E.g. 50 RSVP + $50 = $550 USD

Here are the next steps… Note: Failure to show any activity or meetups planned within 4 weeks from today, you will receive at risk email. Meet with your co-leaders: discuss the timing, topic(s), speakers and location for your first event Complete your “About” section on your chapter description on Bevy Make Your TUG Event Page exciting! Publish Your First Event (within 4 weeks of this onboarding call) Start sharing it on social and with your networks !

Suggested Timeline for Planning Your Events 4-6 Weeks in Advance Choose a date and time for your event Decide on the type of event you’re going to want to hold Determine the content Recruit speakers Reach out to multiple venues to host your event 3 Weeks in Advance Create your event in Bevy (date, location, agenda) Order swag for your event (for qualifying TUGs) 2 Weeks in Advance Promote your event on social channels, to your colleagues and friends Do dry run of event with presenters Order food and other supplies 1 Week in Advance Confirm logistics Create Welcome and Agenda Slides Assign Event Roles and Responsibilities Create trivia/poll/survey for live event (if applicable) Get engagement questions ready for opening/while people dial in Day of Event Perform tech check 30 minutes before your event Signage set up Have Fun! Ask for speakers for next event 1-3 Days After Your Event Download, edit and add your recording to YouTube and then add to Bevy page Send follow up communication including link to recording and other resources Send a Thank You to any presenters and others who were involved Post recaps on social media Submit reimbursements

A global series of User Groups that will build awareness about what’s to come with Tableau & Agentforce and create excitement about the future of analytics! What do I need to do? Fill Out Interest Form : Sign up to host a meeting and receive resources. Attend Agentforce Training Session: Recorded session (note this provides an overview of Agentforce, not Tableau specific) Organise Meeting: Host a session for your Community Group between January 13-31.
