Learning objective: Understand and increase your practice of comprehensive leadership
While considerable progress has been made in leadership, substantial work remains. This course is designed to help you take the crucial first step: examining and enhancing your own approach to leadership.
Throughout this dynamic seminar, you will explore what it means to lead from “the inside out.” Begin by reflecting on your own biases, mindsets, beliefs, and behaviors to identify areas for growth. Using tools like systems mapping, you will evaluate the organizational systems and structures that impact your team, identifying necessary changes to foster various perspectives.
In a supportive learning workplace, you will confront real-life challenges, develop, and practice the skills essential for promoting teams, systems, and accessible policies. By the end of the seminar, you will be better equipped to lead in a way that supports the ongoing advancement of leadership, making a meaningful impact within your organization and beyond.
At the end of the seminar, attendees will:
1. Identify the underlying causes of complex leadership challenges by analyzing systems and mindsets that obstruct progress.
2. Examine actions required to advance towards various perspectives.
3. Determine real-life leadership challenges and analyze them from organizational, team, and individual perspectives.
4. Discuss organizational and leadership issues, including behaviors, loyalties, biases, and values, which need to be examined or adjusted to support sustained change.
