At the end of the lesson, the students must be able to: identify his duties and responsibilities; develop processes that show respect and tolerance and construct symbols to show cooperation rather than competition LEARNING OUTCOMES
•Peace is to live together with duties and responsibilities. INTRODUCTION
Example Neighbors respect each other's property and privacy ( responsibility ). Everyone follows rules like proper waste disposal ( duty ). People help one another during emergencies, such as sharing food or helping repair a damaged house ( cooperation and mutual understanding ).
•A morality of justice is about human rights or more specifically, about respect for fairness , impartiality , equality and individuals' independence.
Example: Human Rights LGBTQ+ community is the right to marry, ensuring same-sex couples have the same legal rights as heterosexual couples, such as inheritance, tax benefits, and medical decision-making. is the right to be free from workplace discrimination, where LGBTQ+ individuals should not face unfair treatment or harassment because of their sexual orientation or gender identity.
Example: Fairness In a school, teachers provide equal opportunities for all students to succeed, such as giving the same amount of time and attention to each student, regardless of their ability or background. For instance, they do not favor students with high grades and also offer help to those who are struggling.
•A morality of care is about human responsibilities, more specifically, about caring for others, showing consideration for individuals needs.
Understanding the concept •This theme hasically presents the values of cooperation, coexistence, sharing and solidarity in a world that is being pulled apart, by ethnic, religious, individualistic and other separate forces.
Learning to live together has been recognized and declared as one of the "four pillars of education" in the 21st century.
By learning to live together we broaden our vision, gradually move from self-centeredness, to community, to nation and from there to the global family. It also means to learn to co-operate and share with each other and accept diversity and live in harmony.
A neighborhood comes together to clean up a local park. People of different backgrounds and ages work side by side, sharing tools and ideas. This collective effort not only improves their community but also strengthens bonds of cooperation and respect. They move beyond their individual concerns, focusing on the well-being of the whole community. Similarly, on a larger scale, countries collaborate to address global issues like climate change, recognizing that working together benefits everyone and the planet as a whole.
Working in Groups A large part of our life is spent in groups. Harmonious working in a good group is satisfying, empowering and leading to growth.
In a school project, students with different skills work together. One student handles research, another designs the presentation, and a third organizes the schedule. By cooperating and using each other's strengths, they complete the project successfully and feel proud of their teamwork and growth.
How groups are formed For a group in emerge the individuals should have a common goal. When a number of individuals gativer and Sorm a group, they usually undergo a phase of uncasinesa, until they establish she should do what. This phase is called the storming. .

Characteristics of Effective Groups 1. Cohesiveness Members like each other. They are bound together in agreement. There is mutual support and coperation.
Characteristics of Effective Groups 2. Goal orientation Goals are clear and the group is confident of themselves of the possibility of achieving them.
Characteristics of Effective Groups 3. Standards and norms They have established common standards and ways of behavior, participation and quality of products.

The need for Learning Cooperation Learning cooperation is gaining significance in the world of today for several reasons. There is growing individualistic, ethnocentric and other divisive forces, which threaten the solidarity of mankind. Peace is living together.
The need for Learning Cooperation Learning cooperation will bring about a generation who can contribute to the process of building the common future for mankind.
The need for Learning Cooperation Healthy competition is competing against one’s own standards, time-constraints, lack of resources and difficult circumstances. (Balasooriya,2001)
