Let's play the Empathy Game!
the Empathy Game is a great way to practice empathy and
improve your ability to understand others. Here are some
fun situations to get you started:
Your friend just had a successful surgery.1.
Your friend just got a new puppy.2.
Your friend just went on a dream vacation.3.
Your friend just celebrated a milestone birthday.4.
Put yourself in your friend's shoes and imagine how they
might be feeling in each of these situations. This exercise
can help you to become more empathetic and better
understand the emotions of others.
Here are some ideas for acts of kindness that can brighten
up another kid's day:
Write a kind note or draw a picture and leave it in their
locker or desk.
1.
Invite them to play a game or join in on a fun activity.2.
Give them a compliment and tell them something you
admire about them.
3.
Offer to share your toys or games with them.4.
Smile and say hello to them in the hallway or on the
playground.
5.
Listen to them and offer support if they are going
through a tough time.
