These are the different roles that a creature might be best suited to in battle:
•Supporter:Tactical fighters that can provide buffs for allies or status attacks against foes.
•Defender:Sturdy Creatures who can take a hit for the team.
•Attacker:Heavy damage dealers, designed to bring down enemies.
What are Supporters, Defenders and Attackers?
Starting each battle with a combination of Creature roles will allow for better tactics against the Frost Army. Try
experimenting with different teams and see how they work together.

Rarity:
Creatures come in four rarities
•Common
•Rare
•Epic
•Legendary
It denotes how common or uncommon a particular Creature
happens to be. As rarity increases with the Creatures, it becomes
harder to get Sun Gems for their upgrades. However, it is worth
it, as their power grows with their status! You can mix and match
the different Creatures to create your team for each battlefield.
Each of them will give you different advantages and each has
unique abilities that can serve you in multiple ways. Look in each
Creature’s menu to find out more about the abilities and try
them out.
What are Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary Creatures?
These terms indicate the rarity and relative value of a Creature in the game. As rarity increases, the more exclusive the Sun
Gems become for that particular Creature’s upgrades. They might also require more Gold to upgrade.

Race:
Here are the different types of Creatures you’ll encounter in Legend of Solgard:
•Small Folk
•Spirits
•Critters
•Wryms
•Wights
Small Folk are devious tricksters. They will use every dirty trick in the book to beat their opponents, so lucky for you
they are on your side. They are sly, and their attacks are mostly sucker punches. They will stun, maim or confuse
their opponents, then sneak in behind them for a good backstabbing.
Spirits are one with nature and generally reluctant to participate in the mundane matters of men. Respectfully considered
forces of nature, they are slow to anger and might even seem harmless at first glance, but they are relentless once they
get going, and will not stop until their enemies are obliterated. As fighters, they use a mix of melee and magic; turning the
world itself against their foes, building up their strength with each kill, or doing huge amounts of damage to the enemy
field each turn.
Critters arefound anywhere there is a hole, cave or a crack to huddle up in. During their centuries-long history of having to
defend themselves against larger foes, they have devised weaponry and tactics suited to their size. Their main strategy is
complete, unbridled savagery. These furious little animals will come at their foes with everything they’ve got, plus a few
things they probably wish they had. Their ranged or melee weapons are perfectly suited to take on any enemy -be they a
nasty little Frost Minion, or a menacing Frost Giant!
Wyrms all have one thing in common, they are terrifying! The different species are all connected to the elements, giving them
their distinct appearances and characteristics. Their attacks are often enhanced by this native element, like the standard “fire
breath”, “lightning claw”, and “dark tsunami”, or the less conventional “poison spitball”. They are solitary beasts who prefer to
work alone, but they provide an invaluable edge on all battlefronts.
Wights are stuck between the realms of the dead and the living. They fight dirty in every sense of the word with
terrifying screams, setting things on fire, corrosive biles, chaos, and confusion. Their fighting style is more deranged
than disciplined, with powers that cause fear, paralysis, pestilence, rot, poisoning, and the like.

What are Creature stats?
All Creatures have the following stats:
•Strength:Shows how much damage a creature can inflict or endure.
•Hold:Some Creatures don’t attack immediately after merging. Hold tells you how many
turns it will take before attacking.
•Growth:Shows how many strength points a Creature gains for each turn it holds.
•Critical Hit Chance:The likelihood that the Creature will inflict double damage.
•Block Chance:Percentage chance that the Creature will fully block an enemy attack.
•Sync Bonus:Value added to a Creature’s strength when two of the same color attack
simultaneously.
•Merge Bonus:Additional strength gained by a combined Creature after two or more
normal-sized Creatures are merged with it.
You can find all of a Creature’s individual stats and manage upgrades on their Creature
Sheet, which can be found in the Collection menu.
What are Idols?
Idols are craftable items that can be used to augment your Creatures and boost
their stats. To make one, you’ll need to find an Idol Mold, which can be found
in the Boss Arena or Underworld, plus you’ll need to gather some Crafting
Materials. Once crafted, this item can be equipped to a Creature’s Idol Slots to
provide stat boosts. Idols and Creatures can be viewed in the Collection menu.
Powers and Upgrades
How do I level up?
Your Hero Level increases automatically when you gain enough XP (experience points). Not
only does this increase Embla’s stats, it also unlocks new game modes. XP can be earned by
winning battles, upgrading Creatures or opening treasure chests.
How do I upgrade Creatures?
Creatures can be upgraded in the Collection menu, using Sun Gems and
Gold. Each time you fill a Creature’s slot, one or more of its stats will
increase. When all three of a Creature’s slots have been filled, the
player can then use Ability Dust to increase its rank. After earning a
rank, the Creature may learn a new ability or upgrade its current one.
What are Embla’s stats?
•Hit Points:Embla’s health. If it reaches zero, the game is over.
•Spell Power:The strength of Embla’s spells
•Mana:Energy used for spells and special attacks
•Barrier Strength:Determines the strength of Embla’s barriers
•Sun Burst:The strength of Embla’s Sun Burst
•Max Energy:The maximum amount of energy Embla can have
What is the Sun Spear?
Sun Spear is a spell that Embla can cast using Heaven’s Disk. It attacks a random
target without using any moves. Merging and combining Creatures during battle
charges Embla’s mana. When the Sun Spear icon is lit, tap it to cast the spell.
How far can I level up my Creatures’ abilities?
While Creatures can only rank up to level 8, their abilities can be increased all the way to level 10!
However, the Creature’s rank determines how far their abilities can be levelled:
•Rank 1: First ability can be increased up to level 4
•Rank 2: Second ability can be increased up to level 4
•Rank 4:Both abilities can be increased up to level 7
•Rank 6:Both abilities can be increased up to level 10
What are ability stats?
Each ability has four different stats. Here’s how they affect the Creatures in
battle:
•Luck: The percentage chance the ability will have a bonus effect.
•Bonus: The number of times the bonus effect can take place.
•Power: The amount of damage the ability can do.
•Evolve: This is unique to each Creature. It may determine how far a
projectile will go, or how much bonus strength will be added to
adjacent Creatures when merged.
What are the different game modes?
The following game modes are playable in
Legend of Solgard:
•Campaign
•Treasure Caves
•Bounties
•The Dungeons
•Hero Arena
•Boss Arena
•Underworld
Some game modes have seasons, such as
the Hero Arena, Boss Arena and
Dungeons. Rewards are distributed at the
end of each season, according to your
ranking.
Campaign battles is the main story quest where you travel through different
worlds and battle the Frost Army. These levels are won by shattering the Ice
Portal behind enemy lines; however, there will usually be enemies and
obstacles blocking the way.
Treasure Caves:At Hero Level 5, Embla is granted access to a magical
cave owned by the dwarfs of Midgard. Use your Creatures to harvest
Sun Gems and Gold, with no pesky enemies getting in the way. This
special area can be accessed twice per day.
Bounties:At Hero Level 6, you will get the chance to become a bounty
hunter. Once this mode is unlocked, you can earn Gold by chasing down
gangs of rogues and ruffians. Capture a gang of three Bounties in a day
to earn a riches chest.
The Dungeons:At Hero Level 7, you will be able to trawl the dungeons
with your Guild. Venture with your companions to explore dungeons,
deal damage and help your Guild climb the leaderboard. Each Dungeon
is host to four Guild Bosses.
Hero Arena:At Hero Level 8, you can test your skills against other players. Climb
the leaderboard to win trophies, titles and Diamonds. Watch out for those
Wyrms!
Boss Arena:At Hero Level 11, you will get to take another swipe at the foes
you have faced and remind them who is boss! In this mode, you will find Idol
Molds to create augmentations for your Creatures.
Underworld:At Hero Level 12, the ultimate survival challenge begins.
Fight your way through Hel’s Chambers and see how far you can get.
But watch out -Hel can imprison Creatures by locking them inside
Creature Crates!
What live events are available?
The following timed events will pop up now and again, so win big while you have the chance!
•Treasure Hunt:Track down the naughty Gnome and his stolen treasure. Be sure to take down the Treasure
Gnome first before shattering the Ice Portal to win plenty of Gold.
•Rainbow:Take on the Bifrost Brothers to win Epic Sun Gems. But be careful -when they go, they take the
treasure with them, so grab as much loot as you can first. Assemble teams of creatures that frighten them!
•Mobs:From time to time, you’ll be asked to track down special bounties from gangs of goons. Get them
before they’re gone!
•Special Live Events:For a limited time, you’ll have the chance to recruit a new Creature for your army!
