Conclusion

Conclusion This research investigated the interruption of Wi - Fi services in UTM. Primary data were collected by randomly distributing questionnaires to 90 respondents. As mentioned earlier in the introduction, t he purpose of this study were to investigate the cases of Wi - Fi services, the effect of the interruption of Wi - Fi services to the users and how the user s handle the interruption. The following conclusions can be drawn from that the signal strength of Wi - F i services is weak in UTM. First, the users always experienced being disconnected suddenly base on the weak signal strength. These problems will leave some effects to the users which cause their assignment to be delayed. Based on that, the users will face some emotional distress. Lastly, most of the users said library as their first choice to access the internet. This is the solution for them to handle with the weakness of Wi - Fi services since the cable more stable than the wireless. The results of this st udy indicate the accessibility and stability of the network coverage are the two important factors that will influence student’s choice in selection the places to online. However, these findings cannot be generalized to other university students. The same study needs to be conducted with students from other universities to see if there are any similarities with the factor that will influence student’s choice in selecting the places to online. 5. LIT_ _ _ _ _ _ E RE _ _ _W - Provides an overview of sources you have explored including books, scholarly articles, and any other sources - Provides an overview of current knowledge, allowing you to identify relevant theories, methods, and gaps in the existing research. ERATUR VIE

6. H_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ S YPOTHESI

Hypothesis vs. Hypotheses

Ex. Quality of sleep affects academic performance

Ex. People exposed to high levels of ultraviolet light have a higher incidence of cancer than the norm

7. M_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Y The systemic method to resolve a research problem through data gathering using various techniques, providing an interpretation of data gathered, and drawing conclusions. ETHODOLOG

Aim To ensure validity and reliability of results that address the research aims and objectives. It is where the researcher will decide; -what data to collect (and what to ignore) - who to collect it from (sampling design) - how to collect (data collection methods) -how to analyze (data analysis methods)

8. P O _ _ L _ _ _ _ N The entire group that you want to draw conclusions about In research, it doesn’t always refer to people Can mean a group of containing elements of anything you want to study, such as objects, events, organizations, countries, species, orgamisms , etc. PU ATIO

9. S _ _ P _ E AM L

Reasons for Sampling

Sample Category

10. V A_ _ _ B _ E Any factor trait or condition that can be manipulated or measured in an experiment RIA L

Variable

Ex. from Hypothesis Quality of sleep affects academic performance Variables Independent Dependent Quality of sleep Academic performance

11. INS_ _ _ _ _ _ T tool that can be use to collect or obtain data. Format may consist of - questionnaires - surveys - interviews - checklist - simple test TRUMEN

What makes a Good Research Instrument? Validated Reliable Assists in answering the research aims/objectives Should not have bias in the way data is correct

12. Q _ _ _ _ _ _ N _ _ _ _ E UESTIO NAIR

14. R _ _ _ _ _ S The section of a research paper where the authors provide the data collected during their study Also called as “FINDINGS” ESULT

15. D I S_ _ _ _ _ _N The section of a research paper whose purpose is to interpret and describe the significance of your findings in light of what was already know about the research problem being investigated. To explain any new understanding or insights that emerged as a result of your study of the problem. CUSSIO

Objectives of Discussion Reiterate the research problems/ state the major findings Explain the meaning of the findings and why they are important Relate the findings to similar studies. Consider alternative explanation of the findings Acknowledge the study’s limitation Make suggestions for further research

17. R E _ _ _ _ _ C E The last page of a research paper that lists all the sources you used in study It gives credit to author you have consulted for their ideas. FEREN

18. A _ _ _ N _ _X Serves as a space for materials that help clarify your research but not belong to main text this is where the researchers attach a copy of their research instrument such as an interview, transcript, questionnaires, or surveys.

Abstract With its widespread use and its features and functions such as mobility, reachability, localization, and personalization, mobile phone technology offers a great potential in learning environments. With this consideration, our first and foremost aim in this study has been to make use of this profound interest and potential, and contribute to the efforts to enhance existing educational practices, particularly in the developing regions of the world. Therefore, we developed instructional materials to be delivered through mobile phones operated in second generation GSM technology in order to improve English language learners' vocabulary acquisition. The multimedia messages in this study allowed students to see the definitions of words, example sentences, related visual representations, and pronunciations. After students finished reading multimedia messages, interactive short message service (SMS) quizzes for testing their learning were sent. This paper suggests some important points to consider while creating MMS content and a SMS quiz system for educational purposes.
