School year 1997-1998 is marked with the turnover of Rev.Fr.JohnDoohan, a Columbanpriest to
Rev. Jose Gerson P. Ted-ad, a Filipino priest. When the term of Rev. Fr. Jose GersanP. Te-ad nded,
Rev. Fr. Fernando E. Villanueva, Jr. took over as a Director on May 2006 to August 2012 and on May
2012 to October 2015 Rev. Norberto E. Chavez took ovr. At present, Rev, Fr. Randy T. Bayog, is the
director. The resourcefulness and initiative of these directors have led to the realization of many
unfulfilled dreams for Immaculate Conception Academy of Dancalan, Inc.
Today, Immaculate Conception Academy of Dancalan, Inc. through the initiative of Fr. Randy
Bayog, the 31 year old grade 7 classrooms and admin building were built from zero. Also the state
was constructed. Taking the risk of building new classrooms is worth it seeing our students now
enjoy its comfort. Thus, we need to adapt to the demands of the K-12 curriculum as we expand to
offer a preferential choice to our grade 10 completers to continue their senior high school here in
ICA. ICA continues to make its presence felt distinctly as it consistently produces leaders and key
actors in various field of endeavor.

Learn about it
Known for its academic excellence, dynamism and active
community involvement and service, the school Immaculate
Conception Academy of Dancalan, Inc. rises to the challenge of the
times, the need to exercise leadership role in social transformation of
the youth.
As it was then, Immaculate Conception Academy of Dancalan, Inc.
motivated by its vision, endeavors to develop Christian values
committed to excellence and actively involved in the service of their
fellowmen towards a peaceful, just and humane Filipino society.

Immaculate Conception, Roman Catholic dogma asserting that Mary, the
mother of Jesus, was preserved free from the effects of the sin of Adam
(usually referred to as “original sin”) from the first instant of her conception. ... Mary's
privilege, thus, was the result of God's grace and not of any intrinsic merit on her
part.
The doctrine that God preserved the Virgin Mary from the taint of original sin from the
moment she was conceived; it was defined as a dogma of the Roman Catholic
Church in 1854.
A gradual acceptance of theFranciscan’s views over the next several centuries was
reflected in the teaching of variouspopes(especiallySixtusIVin the late 15th century)
and thecouncils of Basel(1439) andTrent(1546). It was not, however, until
December 8, 1854, thatPius IX, urged by the majority of Catholicbishopsthroughout
the world, solemnly declared in the bullIneffabilisDeusthat the doctrine was revealed
by God and hence was to be firmly believed as such by all Catholics. Thefeastof the
Immaculate Conception is celebrated on December 8 and is usually aholy day of
obligation(on which Catholics are required to attend mass).

The Sign of the cross
In the name of the Father, the Son,
the Holy Spirit. Amen

OUR FATHER
Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary
Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

GLORY BE TO THE FATHER
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the
Beginning, is now, and ever shall be,
world without end. Amen.

APOSTLE’S CREED
I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
Creator of Heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, Our Lord,
Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended into Hell.The third day He arose again from the dead;
He ascended into Heaven, sittethat the right hand of God, the
Father Almighty;
from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church,
the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

I believe in one God, the Father almighty,
maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.
I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God,
born of the Father before all ages. God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God, begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father;
through him all things were made. For us men and for our salvation
he came down from heaven, andby the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the
Virgin Mary,
and became man.

For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate, he suffered death and was buried,
and rose again on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures.
He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead
and his kingdom will have no end. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son,
who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified,
who has spoken through the prophets.
I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church. I confess one Baptism for the
forgiveness of sins
and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come.
Amen.

HAIL HOLY QUEEN
Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of mercy, our life, our sweetness and
our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve:
to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping
in this valley of tears.
Turn then, most gracious Advocate,
thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this our exile,
show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary! Amen.

Soul of Christ, make me holy
Body of Christ, be my salvation
Blood of Christ, let me drink your wine
Water flowing from the side of Christ, wash me clean
Passion of Christ, strengthen me
Kind Jesus, hear my prayer
Hide me within your wounds
And keep me close to you
Defend me from the evil enemy
And call me at the hour of my death
To the fellowship of your saints
That I might sing your praise with them
For all eternity. Amen
for all eternity. Amen.
ANIMA CRISTI

Memorare
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known
that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help
or sought thy intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, We fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins my Mother;
to thee do we come, before thee we stand, sinful and sorrowful;
O Mother of the Word Incarnate,
despise not our petitions,
but in thy mercy hear and answer them. Amen.

V-The Angel of the Lord declared unto Mary.
R-And she conceived by the Holy Spirit. (Hail Mary....
V-Behold the handmaid of the Lord.
R-Be it done unto me according to thy word. (Hail Mary....)
V-And the Word was made Flesh.
R-And dwelt among us. (Hail Mary....)
V-Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God.
R-That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
LET US PRAY: Pour forth, we beseech Thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts; that, we to whom the Incarnation
of Christ, Thy Son, was made known by the message of an Angel, May by His Passion and Cross, be brought to the
glory of His Resurrection through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.

Regina Caeli: Queen of Heaven
Queen of heaven, rejoice, alleluia! The Son you had the privilege to bear,
alleluia!
Has risen, as He said, alleluia! Pray for us to God, alleluia. V. Rejoice and
be glad, O Virgin Mary, alleluia! R. For the Lord has truly risen, alleluia. Let
us pray. O God, who through the resurrection of Thy Son, our Lord Jesus
Christ, give joy to the world; grant, we beseech you, that through the
intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may obtain the joys of
everlasting life. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen! Regina Caeli is
unknown; the hymn has been traced back to the twelfth century. It was in
Franciscan use, after Compline, in the first half of the following century.
There is a legend that says St. Gregory the Great (d. 604) heard the first
three lines chanted by angels on a certain Easter morning in Rome while
he walked barefoot in a great religious procession and that the saint
thereupon added the fourth line: “Ora pro nobis Deum. Alleluia.”

Saint Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the
devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of
God
cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits
who prowl throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen.
SAINT MICHAEL PRAYER

O Lord God, I love you above all things and I love my
neighbor for your sake because you are the highest,
infinite and perfect good, worthy of all my love. In this
love I intend to live and die. Amen!

O my God, I am heart fully sorry for having
offended thee, and I detest all my sins because
of Thy just punishment, but most of all because
I have offended Thee my God, Who is all good
and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve,
with the help of Thy grace, to sin no more, and
to avoid the near occasion of sin. Amen.

O Mary, conceived without sin,
pray for us who have recourse to thee,
and for those who do not have recourse to thee,
especially the enemies of the Church
and those recommended to thee.
Amen.
Miraculous Medal Prayer

Dear Lord, I do not know what will happen to me today.
I only know that nothing will happen that was not foreseen by
you,
and directed to my greater good from all eternity.
I adore your holy and unfathomable plans,
and submit to them with all my heart for love of you,
the Pope, and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Amen.

Guardian Angel Prayer
Angel of God,
my Guardian dear,
to whom God's love commits me here,
ever this day (or night) is at my side,
to light and guard,
to rule and guide.
Amen.

Grace before Meals
Bless us, O Lord, and these Thy gifts,
which we are about to receive from Thy bounty,
through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
