Present Continuous Present Simple VS The simple present is a verb tense with two main uses. We use the simple present tense when an action is happening regularly. We can use for events, indications, activities, etc. The present continuous is a tense that work with the verb to “be” and also we need to add “ing” for main verb. We use the present continuous tense when an action is happening right now.
