Abuse The teacher reported the coach for verbally abusing the players during practice. Is this boy treated well ? Is abuse something good or bad?
abuse noun / əˈbjuːs / v . to misuse; to injure or damage through maltreatment; n. a misuse; cruel treatment or words.
bewilder The hard lesson bewildered the student, leaving him speechless . If you are bewildered, do you know what to do ? Do you feel sure or lost? Can a difficult puzzle bewilder you?

barbarism The act of destroying ancient monuments was seen as an act of barbarism . Is the person in the picture protecting the statue? Is the person destroying something valuable ? Does barbarism show respect for culture and history ? Is barbarism polite and civilized behavior ? Can barbarism involve violence and cruelty?
