Let’s start our lesson. Identifying Ordinal Numbers . - tells the position of a person or object. Normally they are indicated by “th” or sometimes by “nd” or “st”

Let Us Remember Ordinal numbers tell the position of a person or an object in a row or a line. Ordinal numbers may be written in symbols or in words. When telling ordinal positions, you may start from the left or from the right.

Some ordinals are: 1 st - Fir st 2 nd - Seco nd 3 rd - Thi rd 4 th - Four th 5 th - Fif th 6 th - Six th 7 th - Seven th 8 th - Eig ht 9 th - Nin th 10 th - Ten th
