OBJECTIVEs: Students will be able to: Exchange personal information to introduce each other to the class. Describe and talk about their family.
WARM-UP ACTIVITY Students form a circle . The teacher gives a student a ball ( potato , paper ball , or a round object ). The teacher will say pass , pass , pass and the students pass the object to each other . When the teacher says stop, the student who has the ball answers a question . HOT POTATO!
questions ! What is your name? What is your singer, actor , movie, etc ? Mention five things that make you happy . How old are you? Where are you from? What's your mother´s job? How old is your dad?
AM /IS/ARE The verb to be is most commonly used in the simple present ( am,is,are ) . These tenses each use their own special words for to be , depending on the person and number of the subject.

PRACTICE 3. Write 5 questions with the exercise number 1.) Ex: 1) Am I sad? 1.) Make a group of 3 students. 2.) Complete the worksheet and compare your answer with your classmates.
PRoduction Shuffle Game Make groups of 4 students. Each group will take turns selecting a sentence card from the pile. (teacher shows them flashcards ) When a group selects a card, they must read the sentence aloud to the class and then determine whether it is in positive, negative, or affirmative form. If the group correctly identifies the form of the sentence, they earn a point. If they are incorrect, no points are awarded. Encourage discussion and collaboration within the groups to reach a consensus on the correct form of each sentence.
HOMEWORK Write 5 sentences in affirmative, negative, and interrogative forms using "am/is/are" about your daily routines. (15 sentences) Example: "I am happy in the morning. I am not tired in the afternoon. Am I lazy at night??“ Note : Be prepared for the next class to read your routine .
