NEBULISATION MACHINE A nebulizer is a piece of medical equipment that a person with asthma or another respiratory condition can use to administer medication directly and quickly to the lungs. A nebulizer turns liquid medicine into a very fine mist that a person can inhale through a face mask or mouthpiece. Taking medicine this way allows it to go straight into the lungs and the respiratory system where it is needed.
Removing respiratory secretions when the patient is unable to . Assisting a patient that is vomiting while seizing or unconscious Clearing blood from the airway Removing a foreign substance from a patient’s windpipe and/or lungs (pulmonary aspiration) VACUUM SUCTION
AMBU BAG SET Use of manual resuscitators to ventilate a patient is frequently called "bagging" the patient. Use of the manual resuscitator force-feeds air or oxygen into the lungs in order to inflate them under pressure, thus constituting a means to manually provide positive-pressure ventilation . It is used by professional rescuers in preference to mouth-to-mouth ventilation , either directly or through an adjunct such as a pocket mask . 02. 01. 03.
Laryngoscope is a visual exam using a throat scope to view below the back of the throat where your larynx that contains your vocal cords is. It's an efficient procedure to help the doctor discover the cause of: Pain in your ear or throat Blockages in your airway Narrowing of your throat (stenosis or strictures) Difficulty in swallowing LARYNGOSCOPE
DEFIBRILATOR Defibrillation is indicated only in certain types of cardiac dysrhythmias , specifically ventricular fibrillation (VF) and pulseless ventricular tachycardia . 01 Defibrillation is also not indicated if the patient is conscious or has a pulse. Improperly given electrical shocks can cause dangerous dysrhythmias, such as ventricular fibrillation. 02 If the heart has completely stopped, as in asystole or pulseless electrical activity (PEA) , defibrillation is not indicated. 03
