2. 1 LITHOSPHERE This sphere is the innermost part of the crust of the planet Earth. Geosphere contains all of the layers of the earth, including the lithosphere and the science of understanding the formations and movement of the land surfaces.

3. In Earth Science, lithosphere alone is considered one of the major systems of the Earth because t can develop and maintain life substances. This layer is rich in minerals and precious stones created by the Earth’s nature and polished through time. It provides land and all of its contents that are significant for every living things. Lithosphere, therefore, contains all of the land surfaces of the Earth in which life exists significantly.

4. The lithosphere itself can create new forms of surfaces and be replenished again. Volcanism is one of the ways in which new landforms is being created from the release of the molten magma to the hardened lava flows.
