PROBLEMS AND CHALLENGES ENCOUNTERED (Interview from the remedial reading teachers) 6

1. Students do not have the interest in attending reading sessions despite constant reminders. 7

2. Students incur habitual absences from class. Hence, reading session is unattended. 8

3. Some parents are not cooperative; thus, reading is not practiced at home. 9

1-2. Apply reward system (through incentives) to motivate the recipients and assure 100% attendance and participation. 11
