2. Tin Shade is a type of shade basically used to cover the roof of buildings. It has many other advantages like parking roofs, walls of buildings etc. It is widely used because of its certain characterstics :- low cost easy manufacturing reflection of sunlight Applications of tin shade are:- Roofs Building walls INTRODUCTION

4. Tin shade can be manufactured by 2 processes Forging Rolling MANUFACTURING PROCESS

5. In this process, hydraulic press is used to get the desired shape. It is used if shade of small size is to be made. Its disadvantage is that for making big pieces you need to have big press, which is expensive . So its use is eliminated now a days. FORGING

6. This process is basically used to reduce width of workpiece and increase length or vice versa. For this, workpiece is heated to certain temperature . Then passed through rollers. It is of 2 types:- Hot rolling for higher depth in one pass . Rough surface finish Cold rolling for better surface finish . ROLLING
