Projects Approach Our approach focuses on making sure everyone can join in and that students learn to use the resources at the college. First, students will complete a project together. Then, they will make it more precise. Finally, they will make sure it meets industrial standards. These projects are meant to be easy to make at work shops like carpentry, welding, and fabrication.
Wind turbine design The project involves the design and evaluation of a wind turbine using CATIA software, followed by real-life testing.
Wind turbine design & evaluation DESIGN Students will design blades only using CATIA 3D Experience MANUFACTURE Blades will be manufactured using 3D printer. EVALUATION Printed blades will be mounted on a ready-made mechanism capable of measuring RPM (revolutions per minute) and torque. The setup can be constructed by IIOT students.
