Case no. 1 Tony is a boy who is in grade 3 now. Since nobody taught him how to read at home, Tony cannot even identify letter names and sounds. He finds it hard to understand and read his lessons in all other subject areas.
Case No.2 Liza is a grade 6 pupil who can read short texts but cannot comprehend. She has difficulty in reading words with automaticity and accuracy. In result , Liza barely catches up with her lessons.
Case No.3 John is a 6-year-old boy. He is in Grade 1. He does not know how to answer questions verbally asked. He is not so familiar with letter names and sounds .
Case no.4 Helen is in 5 th Grade now. She does not want to go to school because she cannot understand any lessons. She cannot even compute or read anything.
