In multiplying decimals by 0.1 or 0.01, move the decimal point
of the other factor to the left by the number of decimal places in

In multiplying a decimal by a power of 10, move the decimal
point of the decimal factor by the same number of places to the
right as the number of zeros in the factor which is a power of 10.
Annex zero when necessary to complete the number of digits in
the product.
