OVERHEAT DETECTOR MICROCONTROLLER AND APPLICATIONS Roll No. ADARSH SINGH 60 PRABAL TRIPATHI 65 SATYAM VISHWAKARMA 67 PRAVIN YADAV 68
WHAT IT DOES ? Whenever the temperature goes above a particular level (100°C ) the buzzer beeps and gives us an alert OVERHEAT DETECTOR
COMPONENTS Circuit Diagram LM35 Temperature Sensor ADC0804 Analog to Digital converter AT89C51 Microcontroller BC547 npn BJT CRYSTAL OSCILLATOR (12MHz) Resistor 10K Capacitor 150pF DC Voltage Source Buzzer
LM35 Temperature sensor LM35 used in basic configuration Temperature range of 2°C to 150°C in basic configuration Output voltage ranges from 20mV to 1500mV Output voltage increases by 10mV for each °C increase in temperature
ADC0804 Converts analog data from sensor to digital data Make CS’ & WR’ low (Reset State) Make WR’ (or CS’) high (Conversion starts) INTR’ pin becomes 0 (Conversion ends) Make CS’ & RD’ low, this will output data on D7-D0 pins. NOTE: When RD’ is low INTR’ is high automatically Vref /2 pin is connected to 1.28V to get resolution of 10mV
