DEFINITION
In violent asphyxia death, there is evidence of
application of mechanical force to the body that had
caused interference with the process of respiration

HANGING
Hanging is a form of violent death produced by suspending the
body with a ligature around the neck, the constricting force
being the weight of the body or part of body weight .
