PROJECTS

 Design and fabrication of a Vapor absorption Refrigeration using solar energy.

The use of solar energy to power refrigeration with replacing the compression cycle with vapor absorption
cycle strives to minimize the negative impacts refrigerators have on the environment and energy. Replacing
the electrical energy with solar energy will reduce the consumption of high grade electrical energy. Ammonia
being an environmentally friendly gas reduces the effect of ozone layer depletion and global warming by
artificial refrigerants. This project deals with a model solar thermal refrigeration system using NH3-H2O
vapor absorption system

 Design and Fabrication of Wall-climbing robot.

Wall climbing robots have been used widely in field of inspection, building cleaning, welding and so on.
These robots can freely move on surfaces with various inclinations eg: vertical wall and ceiling.

Objective:

 To design w wall climbing robot for cleaning ,painting and crack detection on walls

 To fabricate a wall climbing robot

 To test the performance of wall climbing robot

It works on the principle of tracked wheel and suction adhesion mechanism. We are done with the final design
of the model, it may change depending on the number of feature that we might add on to the robot. This is a
catiaV5 model which looks like our final product. Design calculations has also been done .do the challenge for
this would be the fabrication of the robot which requires high accuracy.

KH designs Pvt Ltd.

 Successfully completed 4 weeks of training on ‘automotive simulation’
conducted by ‘Expert Hub’ that was held in Alva’s Engineering
College, Mijar.
 Did my training in the field of Aeronautics in the newly established
training centre in VTU regional college ,Centre of Excellence (COE) in
Aerospace and Defense a Government of Karnataka Initiative.

STRENGTHS

WEAKNESS

 Fresher to the corporate world.

 I don’t like memorizing without
understanding.

 Spend too much time on my phone.

 Not much of a morning person.

 Suffer from cold very often.

 I don’t handle destructive criticism very well.

Pencil Sketch:

(Concept generation and problem solving)

Mr.Shiva owning a road side tea shop was finding it difficult to wash his vessels because he
was handicapped. Specifically he is single handed. Here are some sketches that will solve his
problem (sketch 1and 2).

Sketch 1:

 Place the vessel in the system.

 Water can be poured to the system when ever required

 The person needs to adjust the adjustable brush foe various vessel sizes

 The vessel can be gripped by suction cups and rotated in the system

Sketch 2:

 First unscrew the screw thread.

 Place the vessel by sliding it horizontal on the table.

 Hold the rotary brush at a distance and start screwing the rod as it moves down it
should pass through the rotary brush.

 The vessel can be washed as required by screwing and unscrewing the rod.

 Water can be added when ever required.

Sketch 3:

 Bicycle with rim lights can be use that will replace the head lamp which is
comparatively ineffective.

 Head light doe not focus it light under the bicycle, which is the advantage in this case.

 The spread of light around the bicycle is uniform.

 Visibility is more.

 It saves battery
