DIPLOMA OF AUTOMOTIVE
TECHNOLOGY
This qualification reflects the role of
individuals who diagnose, analyse,
evaluate, design and modify vehicle
systems in the automotive retail,
service and repair industry.

CERTIFICATE III IN LIGHT VEHICLE MECHANICAL
TECHNOLOGY
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who
perform a broad range of tasks on a variety of light
vehicles in the automotive retail, service and repair
industry

Certificate IV in
Automotive Mechanical
Diagnosis
This qualification reflects the role of
individuals who perform advanced
diagnostic tasks in the automotive retail,
service and repair industry.
AUTOMOTIVE

DOMESTIC STUDENTS
•Minimum age of 18 years and above
•Satisfactory completion of the equivalent of
Australian Year 11 or higher
•Have physical attributes suitable for working in
the automotive industry that encompasses
manual handling of equipment including lifting
and carrying heavy objects within scope of safe
working practices (i.e. removing and fitting
engine electrical components and parts)
INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
•Minimum age of 18 years and above
•Satisfactory completion of the equivalent of
Australian Year 11 or higher
•Have physical attributes suitable for working in
the automotive industry that encompasses
manual handling of equipment including lifting
and carrying heavy objects within scope of safe
working practices (i.e. removing and fitting
engine electrical components and parts)
•English Language Requirements (meet one of
the requirements outlined below)
CERTIFICATE III IN LIGHT VEHICLE
