6. What is PLC? A  Programmable Logic Controller  ( PLC )  is an industrial digital computer which has been used to control the manufacturing processes, such as assembly lines, or robotic devices, or any activity that requires high reliability control and easy to programming and process fault diagnosis.

SCADA systems collect data from sensors and devices in real-time. The data is sent to a central computer for  processing and analysis . Operators can  view and control processes  from a central location. SCADA helps in  detecting issues  and  optimizing performance .
