Modeller

Content Introduction Objectives Input & Output Methodology Conclusion

Modeller is an automated protein homology modelling tool that is broadly used for comparative modelling of protein 3D-structures prediction. Introduction

“ MODELLER program is utilized for comparative protein structure Modeling by satisfaction of Spatial Restraints.”

Objectives Available on It is a commercial program and need to be installed the Modeller program on windows, Linux & MacOS. Research Outcome The tool is widely used homology modelling to build tertiary and quaternary structures of proteins Analyzes Modeller analyze and calculates a model of your target protein sequence.

Input The program requires to input alignment between target & template in FASTA file. Also known protein structure of the template. The program results in the predicted model for the target. Output Input & Output

Visualization Modeller assist in protein tertiary and quaternary structures visualization and optimization. Satisfaction Satisfy the Spatial Restraints. Command-line Modeller is utilized through command-line and required concepts of python scripting. Extraction Extracts the Spatial Restraints. Structure Building Homology modeling to build tertiary and quaternary structures of proteins. Methodology Alignment Modeller first align sequences with structures.

The figure describes a flow for the methodology of Modeller, that how it takes target sequence along with template sequence to align them together and generate the target model for them.

Modeller implements comparative protein structure modeling by satisfaction of spatial restraints along with the optimization, multiple alignments, clustering, searching of sequence database and comparison of protein structures. Conclusion
