Media And information Media and Information are a powerful voice of the people to express feelings and thoughts. People nowadays are already media and information literate , but to engage in a digital society, one needs to be able to use these tools and inquire.

threats It is stated in the Philippine Constitution that each person has the right to freedom of opinion and expression. This right includes freedom to hold and express opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.

liber / slander threats Libel is committed when someone, with intent, publishes a false statement that harms another person's reputation, office, trade, business, or means of livelihood. Libel is a violation of Article 355 of the Revised Penal Code in the Philippines.

Piracy refers to the unauthorized duplication of copyrighted content that is then sold at substantially lower prices in the black market. It is illegal under the Cybercrime Law, which states that acquiring any digital copy of any copyrighted material is punishable by fine from Php 200,000 to Php 500,000 and six to twenty years in prison. The Intellectual Property Code and the Anti- Camcording Law were previously in place to combat piracy in the country. piracy threats

our main source to get information is the media. Without media, we will never be updated on the day-to-day events that are happening in surroundings. media is used to raise awareness but sometimes they use it for biases. In using the media, we must follow some rules and etiquettes. Information is powerful but we must not abuse it. - Alkuino , 2017
