The 6-minute walk test (6MWT) is a practical and widely used assessment tool in clinical settings to evaluate the exercise capacity and functional status of patients. During the test, the participant is instructed to walk as far as possible along a straight path in a span of 6 minutes. The test is conducted in a corridor of a specific length, typically marked at every meter for accurate measurement of distance covered.
