My 3 ideas for pitch

Idea 1: floating around (The song Happy Together comes on and starts to get louder during the first few shots) First view of the sky, camera moves down to a river, which is in a snowy mountainy area (to represent Finland) where you see a full bottle of Vesi water floating around. The next shot is then in the ocean with the same bottle floating around the ocean. Then there will be a shot of the bottle of Vesi washing up onto a sunny beach (it’s the summertime) and someone who's young will pick up the Vesi and drink it (the music will get the chorus). It will then jump to a light-yellow screen with the bottle being poured into a tall round glass while someone says a few short lines about the benefits of Vesi (natural electrolytes and maintaining a healthy balance in the body) it will then jump back to that same actor, but they have finished drinking with a smile on their face. They then run off back to the group the actor came from while the camera moves upwards so only the sky is in view. The logo then shows up in the sky with the words “pure and hydrating” translated into Finnish (puhdas ja kosteuttava) will appear below with a young woman reading the logo and text.

Idea 1 Song: Happy Together First shot as sky River flowing in snowy, mountainy environment (Finland Bottle of Vesi floating round the river Being carried away by tide Next shot: bottle of Vesi floating around in the ocean Bottle of Vesi gets washed up onto a shore of a beach It’s the summer time Young guy (18 – 24 years old) Picks up the bottle and drinks Pail yellow screen Bottle of Vesi gets poured into a tall round glass While that’s happening a young lady (18 – 24 years old) starts to talk about the benerfits of Vesi water (natural electrolytes and maintaining a healthy balance in the body Finishes drinking and put bottle down with a big smile Runs back to the group of friends he came from While camera view moves back to the sky logo then shows up in the sky with the words “pure and hydrating” translated to finish ( puhdas ja kosteuttava ) appears below with the same woman reading the logo and text. Volume increases to a certain point then when the guy drinks the Vesi the music will go to the chorus

For idea 1 to fit into an audio advert Main song: Happy Together (it’s a well-known song which also links to the TV advert because the song is also in the TV advert) Water effect so it makes the music muffled slightly to make it seem like the song is playing under water (to show the bottle is travelling around) When it gets to the beach part the water effect goes so it shows that the bottle has surfaced and washed up onto the beach When the young man undoes the bottle, you will hear the noise of the plastic bottle clicking off to then my able to be opened When the Vesi gets poured into the round glass you will be able to hear the pouring noise of the water Voice over will still be the same

So idea 1 can also fit into a print advert 3 print adverts for this idea each one shall be part of the journey from the TV advert (so that its becomes memorable and completely links to the TV advert): - one will be of the Vesi bottle in a river in a cold environment (to represent Finland) - one will be of the Vesi Bottle floating around the ocean - one will be washed up on the beach facing upwards with the logo facing upwards . To how the journey of the water takes from Finland to a beach in a certain country and to again link with the TV advert With all of these the logo will not only be on the bottle but on the lower left-hand corner of the page. So that key information is clear With all of these the slogan will be in very small text under the logo so again show the link to Finland but again not being to big so it doesn’t take up much room

Implications of idea 1: Environment for scenes – can’t go to a river in Finland for first shot, can’t travel to the middle of the ocean to get a shot for the second scene Budget – do not have the funds to travel to those places to get the shot, can't afford high amounts of high-quality CGI If someone saw the advert with an actual plastic bottle in the ocean, or even the idea of it. We would be accused of not being eco – friendly. Therefore, effecting the success of the product.

Idea 2: gamer This idea is about a gamer having a horrible time (because they are losing every game) and they are getting very emotional about it, they will then have an idea and rush to the kitchen fridge where they will get a bottle of cold Vesi out. They will then go back to their computer, sit down at the computer (which is where they started off at) and then drink the Vesi. It will then all go quiet and peaceful showing that Vesi can restore your energy and also balance out your body, so you calm down. After drinking they will put down the bottle onto the desk take a deep breath then continue gaming. The logo of Vesi will then appear on the screen while the camera moves away with the slogan “pure and hydrating” translated to Finnish appears below it.

Idea 2 Gamer playing video games and losing Guy is getting angry/ unbalanced They have an idea Rushes downstairs to fridge Takes out a bottle of Vesi Go back to computer and sits back down Drinks Vesi Guy then takes a deep breath and everything goes quiet and calms down Intense gamer sounds, effects and music He then goes back to gaming And wins the game Winning game sounds Camera will the zoom out slowly The logo and slogan fade in the middle of the screen

For idea 2 to fit into an audio advert Will be able to hear the clicking of a keyboard and mouse Will be able to hear muffled voices so the actor is playing with friends online and talking through the headset Noises will get louder and harder/ more aggressive and abrupt Hear a computer noise indicating his lost Sounds will stop and you will hear again the click of the cap plastic breaking so you can open the bottle of Vesi Then hear drinking/ gulping sounds Everything will be quite and peaceful from here till the end of advert Voice overs will be the same.

So idea 2 can fit into a print advert Will be of the guy facing his computer looking diagonally to the right of the reader, playing his game with empty bottles of Vesi littered in his room. So, this shows that Bottles of Vesi water are the new monster energy drink which is healthier, will also show that drinking then has sustained the guy throughout his gaming time. Not only will the logo be on the bottles, but it will also be on the top left of the page . So, the key information is clear for the people to buy the product Slogan will be below the logo on the top left in a small print. Show that the drink has a link to Finland. But needs to be in small font so that it doesn’t take up the whole page.

Implications of idea 2: There’re are none!! We can create this at home without hardly any CGI (all the editing for this idea can be done yourselves) so very in our means Because you don’t need to go far for any shots it means we can save our budget in case of any emergencies or on any of the tiny pieces of CGI which we might not even need. Or there only the need of a small budget

Idea 3: running to Finland The first shot will be of someone who has just left the front gates of their house is facing towards the camera in running gear ready for some cross country running. They get a bottle of Vesi water out of their rucksack and drink the water. They then begin their journey. A screen pops up with the “One eternity later” meme. The shot then jumps to the same actor is a snowy mountainy area (Finland) and the actor takes out their air pods and looks around them confused about where they are. A young male voice will then say “so much energy, you’ll run to Finland”, with the logo and slogan “pure and hydrating” translated to Finnish will appear in the middle of the shot.

For idea 3 to fit into an audio advert Hear noises of the general public and roads of england Start with a young woman taking a deep breathe indicating shes about to do something challenging (exercise/ running) Here ruffling to indicate woman looking through her rucksack Again, hear the break of the plastic cap when woman opens the Vesi bottle Hear the gulping sounds of her drinking the Vesi water Hear running/ exercise music which is from her airpods Hear footsteps of her running away Same voice over

So that idea 3 fits into a print advert Two adverts for this idea One will be of the runner drinking Vesi water infront of her house ready to start her running journey, so this shows that she will now have the energy to start her running. The other will be of the woman in snowy mountainy Finland while drinking a bottle of Vesi water to get the idea that she has travelled to Finland, but because shes in the same running gear costume as the other print advert will show that she ran to Finland The logo will be on the bottle facing the audience. So that its very clear on what the product is and so the key information that people need to buy this product are clear The logo will also be on the bottom middle with the slogan below it in a small font, it will be there because then it doesn’t take up as much room so you can see the environment that the women is in and how its different while also not taking away any important information that people will need to buy your product.

The only implications of idea 3: Cant fly to a Finland/ not enough budget to fly to Finland Everything else about this advert we can create in local area meaning we don’t use much of the budget. So could use the money saved in the budget to go to Finland and for the tiny amounts of CGI we will need. Note: when I mean about the tiny amounts of CGI, I’m talking about having the Vesi logo onto an actual bottle

The idea that I will be choosing is............  The idea which I shall be choosing to fully develop into a final product is Idea 2 (gamers idea). This is because there are no implications of this idea at all. I don’t need a large budget or a lot of time to develop this idea into a final product. Even when it comes to shoot for the print advert and recording for the radio advert, it can all be done at home, and not needed to travel to ludicrous locations in the small time we have been given because of how simple but effective it is.
