My Future Plans Essay
Crafting an essay on the topic of "My Future Plans" presents its own set of challenges. The
difficulty lies not only in articulating your aspirations but also in balancing realism with
optimism. It requires a delicate blend of self-reflection, strategic planning, and creative
expression.
Firstly, introspection is crucial. You need to delve into your inner thoughts, ambitions, and goals.
This self-analysis can be demanding, as it demands a level of honesty that might be
uncomfortable. Moreover, predicting the future is inherently uncertain, making it challenging to
articulate plans with absolute certainty.
Then comes the challenge of organizing your thoughts coherently. Structuring your essay in a
logical and engaging manner requires careful consideration of your past experiences, current
skills, and the steps you plan to take toward your goals. This involves a balance between
personal anecdotes, academic achievements, and practical steps you intend to take.
The task is not just about personal reflection but also about showcasing your understanding of
the real world. Discussing the external factors that could influence your plans demonstrates a
nuanced understanding of the complexities involved. This adds depth to your essay but also
requires thorough research and critical thinking.
Another hurdle is the need for creativity. To stand out, your essay should not read like a generic
life plan. It needs a unique voice, innovative ideas, and an engaging narrative. Balancing
creativity with the need for practicality and realism can be a tightrope walk.
Finally, the challenge lies in making your essay memorable. Admissions officers and readers
often go through numerous essays, and it's essential to leave a lasting impression. This requires
careful attention to language, style, and an ability to convey passion and sincerity effectively.
In conclusion, writing an essay on "My Future Plans" demands a multi-faceted approach. It's a
task that involves introspection, organization, understanding of the real world, creativity, and the
ability to leave a lasting impact. Successfully navigating these challenges will result in an essay
that not only reflects your ambitions but also captivates and resonates with your audience.

Japan Is a Better Environment than the US for Inspiring...
Companies seek to profit off the work of the individuals they employ. If you aren t
generating more value for the company than they pay you will likely not be
working for that company much longer. They also hate taking risks and dealing
with the unknown. Manga, like many forms of art, throughout the years was
commercialized after it was shown to be capable of making money. Like all
markets there was a void where companies viewed the risks to be too high, and
eventually an independent group of fans stepped in to fill that demand. This is why
Comiket was established. Comiket, the Japanese abbreviation of Comic Market
started small with 32 circles and about 700 people in attendance but today has 35,000
circles and about 500,000 attendants. It is, A marketplace where individuals can offer
their own self produced creations to a community that appreciate and supports such
creative personal activities. (1) These creations are known as dЕ Ќjinshi and dЕ Ќjin,
and can be used to mean to any independently created and released works not just
manga. Since and likely because of the success of Comiket the market for niche
manga in Japan has exploded in popularity, there are an increasingly large number of
artists, fans, and companies seeking to publish these works. Although often original,
much of the work is derivative fan art, yet the copyright holders allow and sometimes
even encourage these creations. In this paper I will argue that Japan is a better
environment than the U.S.

Letters From Lara
Even the letter Yuri received from Tonya tells of the true destruction revolution
has on love. It reads The whole trouble is that I love you and you do not love me,
which pains Yuri because although the love he feels for Tonya is not as passion
filled as Lara, he still loves her. He loves the life they created as well as the
stability. Yuri truly believes that he and Tonya were made for each other, in the
sense that they meant to build a life around her, which is something that could have
never arisen with Lara s unpredictable life style and personality. At the end of Tonya
s letter she states, We will never, ever see each other again which causes Yuri to faint
from chest pain. The physically distress he feels proves to him that cared and loved
the familyhe has now lost for the remainder of his life. If it weren t for the deportation
Yuri may have had the chance to maybe reconcile his relationship but the revolution
ensured that that lovewill never return to Russia. Komarovsky then uses the push of
the revolution to convince Lara to leave with him. Even when Pasha comes to look
for her he finds he is too late. Driven into... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Although there are brief moments of happiness and love, these moments are
surrounded by periods of darkness. During the revolution all of Yuri s morals and
convictions are broken as his ability to see the beauty in the simple things, which
was shown early on by his ability to write poetry about a candle. This destruction of
this ability is shown by his unfished work and struggle to write at the end of his life.
Continuously through his life Yuri is unable to maintain a relationship with any of
the women and people he loves. Even after his death Yuri s children, born to three
different women, are set to repeat the struggle he had with life. Whether his children s
futures are in exile, poverty, or uncertainty their fates were created due to the
revolutions destruction of

Michelle Alexander Proxy Language Analysis
The term proxy phrase was borrowed from proxy wars. It refers to coded speech
which, on the surface may seem harmless, but takes on a deeper connotative
meaning. Michelle Alexander argued that get the Law and order and Get tough on
crime are only proxy phrases or racially sanitized rhetoric for essentially clamp
down on black people. According to her, the language was first utilized by white
Southern politicians and law enforcement officials to generate and galvanize white
opposition to the Civil Rights Movement in the 1950s. But why the need to use
proxy phrases one may ask? The Civil Rights Act of 1964 outlawed discrimination
based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin and thereby made it
unacceptable to use overt racist language.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In 1954, the Brown v. Board of Education Supreme Court ruling outlawed legal
segregation in public schools. This decision by the highest court was followed by
direct action and peaceful protests by civil rights activists such as Martin Luther
King Jr. who marched, walked, and sat to force the reluctant South to desegregate
public facilities. Southern governors, law enforcement, and whites felt that the
privileges they have enjoyed for centuries were threatened and sought to characterize
the activities of anti segregation protestors as criminal. A part of their argument was
that the ongoing civil rights movement stems from a breakdown in the respect for
and abidance to the law of the land and that equality for blacks would lead to
increase in crime and interestingly their argument was proven true in the FBI s
dubious crime

Water Crisis in Pakistan
WATER CRISIS IN PAKISTAN
GENERAL
1. Pakistan has been blessed with abandoned water resources, with water flowing
down from Himalayas and Karakorum, the world s largest glaciers, a unique bounty
of nature. As a result of this natural resource today we have the world s largest
irrigation system that irrigates over 16 million hectors of land, out of 34 million
hectors of cultivable land available.
2.Basically there are two major sources of water i.e surface and ground water. In
surface water we have Indus Basin (it include Indus plains , Kabul , Astor , Jehlum
, Chenab and Sutlej), Kharan Desert (it include Pishin lora , Baddo Rakshan
Mashkhel ) and Makran coastal basin (it include Malir , Hub , Porali , Kud , Hingol ,
Dasht ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
d.Industries related to the main crops like rice, wheat, cotton, sugarcane will also
suffer in case of water shortage.
e.The distribution of water is controlled by IRSA (Indus River System Authority)
between the provinces. The shortage of water will cause disputes between the
provinces, which may cause harm to the national integrity.
ANALYSIS Pakistan is one of the poor countries of the world with a high rate of
increase in the population. On the other hand the growth rate is decreasing due to
water shortages. We will need to bring under our use additional lands for
cultivation. Pakistan has already slided from water happy country to a water scarce
country. This is going to be a cause of social and political riots, which are not at all
good for the security of the country. So for overcoming the water crises following
steps are recommended
RECOMMENDATIONS
The water strategy must be based upon two essential elements covering
Water development
Water management
The water development strategy is largely based upon the construction of new storage
reservoirs where as the water management strategy will help in reducing the present
losses. In this regard we should start the construction of the following dams
immediately:
a.Chasha dam
b.Kalabagh dam
c.Thal reservoir
d.Raised Mangla dam
e.Mirani dam
f.Gomalzam dam In the water management we must chalk out a strategy, in this way
we can save

I Got A Lot Out Of All Of The Presentations This Week...
I got a lot out of all of the presentations this week (including my own), but the article
that stuck with me the most was the one presented by Shawn (Identifying the
Relationship between Trade and Exchange Rate Volatility) by Christian Broda and
John Romalis. I particularly enjoyed his presentation and I thought it stood out due to
the diverse views that elicited from the class. He effectively outlined the entire article
by clearly establishing the keys questions the authors were attempting to address,
described the key aspects of the extensive methodology utilized, presented the
important findings, and then made us really apply what we had learned. Overall, as a
discussion facilitator and according the assessment criteria, I would grade... Show

Typically, less developed economies are vulnerable to exchange rate volatility and
are known for exporting commodities. This in of itself provokes little change in
current policy as we learned that commodities are less affected by exchange rate
volatility than more highly differentiated products, but we concluded that it does
have implications for less developed economies moving forward. Obviously, many
policy makers in these countries want their economies to evolve and move towards
being developed, but we concluded that this move should be done gradually. The
term differentiated products is broad and there are various levels of product
differentiation. There are products that are considered differentiated yet are affected
by exchange rate volatility in a similar way as commodities are. For example, we
initially thought of semiconductors, which are considered to be differentiated
products, but are exported by countries with developing economies and are even
indexed and traded in secondary markets in similar ways as commodities. We agreed
that authorities in countries with emerging market economies should focus on
reasonably paced development and sustainability in order to withstand exchange rate
volatility. We also had an idea on how policymakers in these developing economies
should react to the strengthening U.S dollar

My Favourite City
My Favourite City My favourite place is Hyderabad. I like it for it s culture,
location, good connectivity with other cities, somewhat moderate climate, the
economy, infrastructure, education, different markets and lots of other things. It s
a city where you find all the useful things in one place, it s also an IT BPO hub, the
daily goods and services are very affordable and of reasonable quality, eateries
offering a variety of cuisine also at very affordable rates, and to me as a practising
Muslim, there are a lot of mosques belonging to all the schools of thought. I initially
came to Hyderabad to join a residential junior college. I stayed here for a couple of
years. At that time, the traffic situation was not so bad and the roads... Show more

City of rocks because we see a lot of rocky hills around the city; and city of pearls
because it is one the largest pearl producer cities in India. Hyderabad is known for
its Qutb Shahi and Nizami culture. One of the most remarkable aspects of the
Hyderabadi culture is the Hyderabadi Urdu dialect, which is easily identifiable
from other dialects. Hyderabad is also known for its Persian influenced cuisine
which include Biryani, Haleem and Irani chai. There are beautiful tourists
locations like Salar Jung Museum, Falaknuma, Chaomahalla and King Kothi
Palaces, Purani Haveli, Golkunda fort, Charminar, Mecca Masjid, Ramoji Film
City, Birla Temple and others. The Nizams have contributed a lot to this city. Some
of the institutions built by the Nizams have now become Government institutions,
like the High Court, Osmania University and Salar Jung Museum. The Falknuma
Palace has been transformed into a super luxury Heritage Hotel, now owned by the
Taj Group. Jamia Nizamia a well known Islamic university, the lakes of
Osmansagar and Himayat Sagar and the present drainage system of Hyderabad
were all built during the Nizam rule. There s a beautiful lake in the middle of the
city known as Hussain Sagar which was built by the Qutb Shahs. It is surrounded
by many parks, gardens and wide roads which offer nice drives of which Necklace
road is the best stretch. Unfortunately Hussain Sagar is not being maintained well by
the government and so has become dirty

Iceland s Impact On The Economy
. Iceland had a shorter, less severe recession after its banking crises than did
Ireland. The most prominent difference is their exchange rate regimes. Iceland s
flexible exchange rate allowed Icelandic government to come up with rapid
resolution of its banking crisis without bailing out creditors. Iceland s combination
of a flexible exchange rate and a policy of closing its failed banks appears to have
served the country well in the aftermath of the financial crisis.
Banking crises in Iceland and Ireland came to a head at the height of the financial
crisis in September and October 2008. These countries took quite different
approaches in dealing with these difficulties. Ireland and Iceland are small island
countries with many ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
A substantial part of the expansion of the banks loan portfolios were loans
collateralized by Icelandic corporate stock. As a result, the value of Icelandic stock
was an important determinant of the value of the banks loans and, therefore, assets.
The value of shares rose and then peaked in mid July 2007. By July 2008, share
prices had fallen to less than half their value at the peak. This loss in collateral value
naturally called into question the probability of lenders being able to repay their loans.
The expansion of banking in Iceland reflected growth of both domestic and foreign
deposits. Banks in Iceland opened branch offices in the United Kingdom and the
Netherlands to gather deposits there. They also expanded by acquiring other
institutions.
The banks increased their funding by obtaining short term loans from other financial
institutions for example, money market funds in the United States. Such funding
from other financial intermediaries is often called wholesale funding. A risk of
wholesale funding is rollover risk lenders may decide not to roll over these short
term loans when they mature, especially if they become concerned about the
borrower s solvency.
At the time, Icelandic banks were acquiring funds in the United States, the United
Kingdom, and the euro area each with a different currency, and all with a different
currency than the Icelandic krГ іna. As a result of this borrowing in other currencies,
Icelandic banks were subject

What Was The Impact Of Radio Broadcasting In The 1920 s
The Impact of Broadcasting Radio broadcasting dramatically changed the 1920s.
The invention of the radio is revolutionary. The radio allows sports, news,
advertisements, music, and religious services to broadcast in real time. People can
get news the moment it happens. Sports like, baseball are broadcasted in real time.
A wide variety of music is the radio. Advertisements attract business, and helps
product development. Religious services are held in real time, through the radio. We
owe these incredible abilities to Guglielmo Marconi for inventing the radio in 1895,
and Heinrich Hertz for discovering radio waves in 1887. Sports broadcastinglive
contributed to American life. The radio brings real time games, and scores. Babe
Ruth said, Baseball was, is and always will be to me the best game in the world
(Ruth). The radio contributed to baseball. The sport grew massively once the radio
broadcasted live games. American life was impacted with greater knowledge of the
sport. Baseball grew and became much larger. Next, live news broadcasts affected
life in an important way. People received live news, instead of waiting for the
newspaper. This increased worldwide knowledge on political, economical, and world
issues. Arthur Edwin Kennelly said,... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The jazz age developed widely because of the radio. Musicians like Louis
Armstrong, and Bing Crosby became so large because of the radio. The radio
spawned new types of music, allowed musicians to grow, and influenced new music.
The radio also grew businesses, and products. Advertisements helped businesses grow.
Through the advertisements people became aware of various products.
Advertisements helped the economy because money was constantly circulating.
Businesses like, Ford, and General Motors dominated the market with affordable
vehicles. Through the radio Ford, and General Motors were able to advertise

Know what to do when children or young people are ill or...
1.Signs and symptoms of some common childhood illnesses:
Chicken pox Chickenpox is a mild and common childhood illness that most children
catch at some point. It causes a rash of red, itchy spots that turn into fluid filled
blisters. They then crust over to form scabs, which eventually drop off. However,
even before the rash appears, the child may have some mild flu like symptoms
including:

How Did Jefferson Change In A Lesson Before Dying
Ernest J. Gaines novel, A Lesson Before Dying, is about a young black man,
named Jefferson. Jefferson is sentenced to death as a result of a crime he seemingly
did not commit. Jefferson s god mother, Miss Emma, wants Grant Wiggins to teach
Jefferson to die like a man with dignity. Grant cannot decide whether he should help
Miss Emma, or leave the state. Eventually he decides to visit Jefferson, and attempts
to make Jefferson act like the man Miss Emma wants him to be. Since Jefferson was
a stubborn man, Grant struggled to communicate with him during their first few
visits. Gradually, Jefferson changes his attitude towards the point that he was
convicted of a crime he did not commit, and the fact that he was called a hog, and a
fool. and walks... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Grant goes to the Rainbow Club, and overhears two men speaking about Jefferson,
and although he cannot fully understand what they are saying, he hears a few
impolite comments said about Jefferson. One man insists, Should have burned
him months ago (198). This proves he believes Jefferson should have died earlier,
and should not have had any time to live after the crime was committed. The man
also claims, I d pull the switch myself, they ask me (198). This verifies he does not
have any sympathy for Jefferson, and he would not have any problem ending his
life. Had Jefferson been white, it is possible people would be more open to hearing
his side of the story, and he could have been given a punishment that was not as

television vs. Reality Essay
It is 8:30 Monday night and the whole family is in the living room watching the
Fox network s primetime hit Ally McBeal . Suddenly, just after the program
resumes after a painstakingly long commercial break, you see a man and a woman
lying in bed talking to each other after having a night of hot, passionate sex. You
look down and see your ten year old son or daughter lying on the floor just staring
at the TV, taking it all in. You begin channel surfing, and end up on channel 3, CBS.
There is a brand new sitcom being aired called Some of My Best Friends . Almost

In one episode, one of the main characters ended up sleeping with his date even
though they had just met each other the day before and had only gone out on one
date. In the very same episode, another of the main characters had sex with a
woman that he had just met less than ten minutes before. In reality, the norm (or the
desired norm) is to wait until a couple has been going out for a while and gets to
know each other better before having sex. In some cases, it is the norm to wait until
marriage before having sex. There are many exceptions to these norms, but most
people like to believe that they hold true.
Another aspect that is falsely portrayed is the representation of love and sex. This
show sends several different messages about love and sex, some of them completely
contradicting the others. The one thing that caught my attention the most though,
was the act of casual sex, or the act of sex without love. In one of the episodes
mentioned earlier, one of the main characters had slept with a woman he only had
met the day before. The following morning, the main character told his roommate
that, [Their] relationship had no spark , and [he] only slept with her because she
was willing to do so . This proves that in this show, most relationships are based on
sexual attraction, instead of cognitive relationships. Then he asked his roommate to
break up with the woman for him, since he had to leave. In

The Major Causes Of Concussions In Sports
Concussions Many memories are made in sports, but sadly, some of the greatest
players cannot remember them. Concussions are temporary unconsciousness caused
by a blow to the head. The term is also used loosely of the aftereffects such as
confusion or temporary incapacity (dictionary definition). Athletes can usually can
recognize a mild concussionby seeing lights or hearing bells. Before concussions
were discovered it was known as getting your bell rung because they didn t know
what it was. Concussions are one of the most dangerous things that could happen to
the human head. Concussions can cause symptoms to last a long time, and people
could not know they have one. Concussions long result is Chronic traumatic
encephalopathy, also known at CTE. CTE can cause Alzheimer s, Parkinson s
disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as; ALS, anxiety, depression, and
even death. A concussion is a onetime event that can make a huge change to one s life.
Sports are the main cause of concussions, but someone can get a concussion
anytime and anywhere. You don t have to be tackled by a 350 pound lineman to
injure your brain, says Brent Masel, M.D., medical director of the Brain Injury
Association of America. (Beil) Parents are now trying to keep their children from
playing sports until they re eighteen. Some people think that forcing athletes to
stop playing sports will stop concussions. People should learn how to prevent and
how to take care of one, instead of not doing what they love. It is important to
understand what a concussion is and how we can determine the state of the
problem. Keeping children away from what they love to do isn t fair to them, even
though there is a higher risk for their child to suffer from a concussion, because
their brains are not fully developed yet. Kids should be able to live their dreams
and play whatever sport suits them. If they don t get to play as a child, how will
they know if they like the sport or can play it? They wouldn t have any experience
playing the sport, just watching the games on television or going to them. Sports are
not the only way someone can get a concussion. A child could fall off a bed, trip
over something, or get into a wreck and hit their head and

Rhetorical Devices In Rev. Martin Luther King
Rhetorical devices are the techniques and tools of language applied in a writing or
speech so as convey meaning (Harris, 28). Brilliant use of rhetorical devices
nourishes, enriches and brings clarity to a text. Literary writers use literary tools
to distinguish a literary work from the non literary one as well as creating an
effective literary work. According to Harris, rhetorical devices are not only used
in literary texts, but they are also used in speech, so as to improve the effectiveness
of the speech to the listeners as well as making it more appealing (Harris, 39). Rev.
Martin Luther King who lived between 1929 and 1968 was one of the core leaders
of the A.M.C.R.M (American Civil Rights Movement) and he was famous for his
non violence protests advocates, in America. The speech I have a Dreamis one of his
historical watersheds that he delivered in a remarkable day, March 28th August
1963 while at the Memorial of Lincoln Washington DC. In order to make his speech
majestic and make it memorable, Rev. Martin Luther used various rhetorical
flourishes such as repititionto engage his audience. The following are the principal
rhetorical devices that Luther used to drill his speech deeper not only in the hearts of
the Negroes but also his target enemy, the Whites. Throughout his speech Dr. Martin
makes use of repetition. This is a rhetorical technique whereby words, lines, sounds,
stanzas, or phrases are used recurrently for the purpose of creating emphasis in a

Nulook Bounce-N-Party Narrative Report
November 9, 2015 through November 23, 2015, I continued interning at the

November 9, 2015 through November 13, I spent time at home and at the Nulook

The Coldest Winter American War Summary
The Coldest Winter: America and The Korean War, by journalist and historian,
David Halberstam, sheds light on the Korean War, The back hole of modern
American history. The genre of the Coldest Winter that of non fiction, helps
Halberstam entice its readers through the portrayal of the power of nations which
included: Soviets, Chinese, both the North South Koreans and other European
nations one being Italy. Halberstam demonstrates tactics exposed by all sides of the
powers, their reasoning to acquire such land or country altogether. Referenced by

Shi George Brown Tindall, events of the Korean War are very general and clearly
do not look deeper into the war to gather as much information, for say Halberstam
did. Both stories, in general, present the same material if not all, MacArthur being
an ideal example. America: A narrative history, expands on the war in Korea in
relation to its importance but not detail. MacArthur being relieved was major in
both stories, as both America... And The Coldest Winter... portray MacArthur a
well known general in the Korean war, as an individual who was disobedient due
to his high achieving needs. Conversely, America expanded upon how the media
reacted to the relieve of MacArthur as Truman responded in a truthful manner of,
...Why, hell, if MacArthur had had his way, he d had us in the Third World War
and blown up two thirds of the world. (Shi Tindall 1027) Likewise, The Coldest
Winter states the firing of MacArthur and ways in which Ridgeway, takes the spot of
MacArthur. Truman along with others found MacArthur to be a querulous old man,
dreaming of a war they had no intention of fighting. (Halberstam, D) MacArthur, as

The Choice And The Notebook
The purpose of this paper is to write about the similarities and difference of two
movies: The Choice and The Notebook. Nicholas Sparks really knows how to set a
romantic/emotional, but also creates a very predictable love story plot line. You
could predict the ending before the movie started with only knowing who the movie
was based on a Nicholas Sparksnovel. There is always a boy who falls for a girl and
has to work extremely hard to get her. Then, something happens, but in the end they
are always together. The Notebook and The Choice both show how life is about
choices, you have to fight for what you love, and the good guy wins; but, in The
Choice the ending will leave you wanting to know more about these characters and

Definition Of Leadership And Leadership Theories
Task no.1.1: Sum up the Leadership Theories: Definition of leadership leader ,
shows great influence and bonding with its theories. It is an ability of leader how
he influence a group towards the achievement of a vision or set of goals. Leadership
is also about coping with change. Leaders set a direction for future by making a
vision of the future. Then guide people by easy mode of communication with this
vision inspire them to rule out the problems.
There are eight main leadership theories are exist practically.
Great Man Theories: This theory assumes that great leaders are born, They cannot
made. These theories say that in case of need great leaders, they lead from the front.
Great man term was evolved because in military leadership only male leaders were
present on that time.
Trait Theories: Trait theory shows similarities with Great man theories, In trait
theories specifically it has been assumed that people are born with certain qualities
and characteristics. These make them better leaders from choice. It also shows
specific personality or behavioural traits shared by leaders.
Contingency Theories: Stoelhorst and Peter (2013) said that this leadership theory
mainly focus on particular variables which shows the relation with the environment.
This will indicates about what kind of leadership will be the most effective? This
theory simply states that no theory is universal perfect but the implement of theories
depends on the variability, it also

The Importance Of Teaching In Education
Introduction
Education is about in parting knowledge based on one s belief, truth and justification
with the purpose of surviving in this changing world. Highly educated people are well
recognized and given high reputation in the society. Hence, teaching is a process of
sharing information between the teacher and students in a positive, caring, changing
and stress free environment where new knowledge must be constructed and tested
through student teacher interaction using different strategies so that children could
master knowledge and skills of desired fields including values, ethics, and other social
knowledge. To fulfill this purpose, teachers should be active, forward thinking,
energetic, knowledgeable, sincere and punctual for changing one s truth, belief and
justification. To satisfy these educational needs, learning should be a fun mechanism
for students in which they enjoy by responding, interacting, socializing, inventing,
sharing, discovering and deciding about knowledge, skills, values, ethics and
discipline by expressing a permanent change in behaviour. As learning is defined as
a permanent change in behaviour, it is teacher s interest to consider teaching as a
personal challenge in which students are diverted to a more progressive learning
environment where they make their own judgment based on what they experience
with exposure to real life like activities. With this as teacher s interest in the field, it
is a sensation for them to focus on the whole child

The Importance Of Dance In Music Man
Dance is an intricate art form that is observed through a variety of styles including
musical theatre. Not only is dance entertaining, but the art also provides as a
gateway to a deeper understanding in a play. Music Man originally written by
AUTHOR NAME is a fine example of dance unveiling a story through numerous
elements. In this piece danceexpresses a tale of an outgoing man turning an old
fashioned, strict town into a lively place for everyone, especially the children. As the
musical moves along, dance elements enhance the transitions of the town from an
unloving and separate city, to a converging village, and finally to a fully united
community. With strategic planning, the choreographer succeeds in conveying the
message of a changing town.
Notably, the musical opens to a large group of men bickering in a train station, a
relevant example of a hateful city. Through dance, the gentlemen utilize a small
dimension by vibrating, which represents how the men keep to themselves and do
not reach out for new ideas. Also, the fast small movements indicate aggression,
which is supported through their audio accompaniment of arguing. In a broader
scheme, the vibrations portray the town as aggressive and attached to old ways.
Comparatively, the next dance includes a movement across the stage when discussing
how the children s behavior will be negatively affected from any kind of change in
the town. This floor pattern directly reflects aggression. As the adults storm across the

Controversy With Whale-Hunting Trips
The article Iceland Tourism Courts Controversy with Whale Hunting Trips , written
by Tom Mackenzie and Ed Kiernan talks about how one of the richest men in
Iceland, Kristjan Loftsson owns the only commercial fin whaling company in the
world. I believe there is room for both whale hunting and whale watching as long as
whalehunting is kept limited. There should be a tracking system where each
company should be given the annual quota and if they go over, penalize them with a
charge. Whale watching is important because as Masson from the article said, I think
99 percent of the tourists who come to Iceland, they are coming here to experience
wild nature at its best . People like watching whales because of wild nature and they
enjoy watching them in the water. The reason... Show more content on

In my opinion, by doing this it would balance both whale hunting and whale
watching and I do not feel people then would have any problem because they know
that whale hunting cannot completely stop as so many people would lose their jobs
but this would at least make it better for people who like whale watching. By limiting
the amount of whale hunting, owners of fin whaling company like Kristjan Loftsson
might lose some profit on the year but at least no one will be against them if they
do not over hunt the whales. As Kristjan Loftsson believes the world has wrongly
turned against him , just shows that he does think of other people s opinions on
whale hunting and if they set a quota to a reasonable number then people won t have
a problem and he would not think that the world is against him as he thinks now.
People all around the world will not question the owners and they will still enjoy
watching the whales for wild

Nuba Wrestling, The Original Art
*Pankration* According to Nigel Binns, in his book Nuba Wrestling, the original
art he speaks of the Greecian art of wrestling boxing called Pankration, which was
originally an art form from Africa (It is similar to Nuba Wrestling mixed with
Hausa Boxing) and that the Greeks adopted it as their own. Nigel noted, their style
of wrestling called Pankration is said to derive its name from two ancient Egyptian
gods; Raand Aton. Therefore Pan Ra Aton/ or Pankration meaning all powerful God,
or spirit.
He also makes mention that the name Greece is from Africa Ni grecia (Land of
Blacks) and that the Greeks were very fond of African cultures in that day and time.
Most of the Greeks civilization is customed and fashioned in the Nubian style from
Arcutecture to Artistry, to Philosophy to Theosophy and the many doctrines of the
numerious gods as well the African style of wrestling. In addition, is the mystery of
the 12 Greek Olympian gods? This Mythical science is thought, to be Pre dynastic
Egypt, and is unknowingly listed as Greek mythology? However, the stories are all
from Africa when the Gods ruled from mount Olympus, initially the rock of
Gibraltar (Atlas) that covered or governed most of northern Africa (Libya) at that
time. The Greeks adopted and renamed all their gods in honor of the great Black
men of Africa, whom to them (the Greeks) were Gods. (One old 5% lesson refers the

Design of Multi-Agent Systems
Design of MAS In multi agent systems, there are four basic elements that collaborate
to build the design of the system. The first element is agents, which composes of
group of autonomous agents that are considered the first and main part of the internal
structure of the MAS design (Manzoni, 2009). Those agents are different in their
numbers, method of response, smartness, dealing with problems, and internal
architecture in general. Since agents are necessary to interact and cooperate with
each other to find a solution for common tasks or uncommon tasks as well, by
communicating via special messages that can arrive at any time. Hence, every one of
these agents must be based on particular information in regarding of its actions and
making decisions (Wooldrige, 2009).
Communication and interaction is the second element of the MAS design, which is
considered the central estate of any distributed system. However, the interaction only
happens when two or more agents share the same interest in regard to solving a
problem. More than that, it is significantly important in the system because of the
difference between agents (Wooldrige, 2009). Agents that are in the same system
interact in three different ways: direct interaction (messages passing), through an
intermediary agent, or through their environment. In more detail, they could be
directly communicated by sending messages when they understand each other s
language. This means speaking the same language and using the same

Essay on Paideia and Modern Educational Policy
Paideia and Modern Educational Policy
ABSTRACT: The lofty ideals of the classical notion of paideia, and the restatement
of those principles in 1982 by Mortimer Adler and the paideia group remain an
unfulfilled promise in terms of the actualities of public education in the United States.
The notion of an educational system for all students built upon a rigorous curriculum
manifesting a framework of values to be acted out in the public and democratic forum
continues to have great attraction for educators. Indeed, the notion of paideia
continues to carry a sense of urgency as it should. However, the actual task of creating
systems devoted to these ideals has run headlong into a political labyrinth generated
by the conflict between ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The passion for testing (oftentimes observed as soundbites serving political ends )
runs counter to a farmboy s common knowledge that you don t put weight on a hog
by weighing it. This paper will attempt a dialectic exploring the models generating
this tension and suggesting an alternative view of a modern paideia.
That original tension is illustrated in the Greek paideia, which not only
contemplated the process of development of the human subject toward the good,
but also venerated the influence of the object of learning; i.e., first the poetry of
Homer, then the literature of Greece, then the total fine arts of the Greek culture. If
we regard education as a process of shaping or forming, the object of learning plays
the part of the mold by which the subject is shaped. The formative mold of early
Greek paideia was Homer, and as time went on that role was expanded to Greek
poetry at large. In the end, the word paideia meant Greek literature as a whole.
(Jaeger 1961:91).
Early Christians, hellenized and conversant in the use and didactic angularities of the
Greek marketplace of education and dialogue, adopted the definition and
implementation of paideia. As with Plato, Gregory of Nyssa, a pivotal figure in the
early church, adopted as given that all human will and effort by nature was directed
to achieve the

The Glossopharyngeal Nerve
Nerve Functions The glossopharyngeal nerve is the ninth (IX) cranial nerve. It is
an ipsilateral mixed nerve, meaning it has both sensory and motor components.
Sensory: Conveys sensations from posterior third of the tongue and the outer ear
such as taste (specifically bitter and sour tastes), pressure, pain, and temperature.
This nerve also plays a role in regulating blood pressure and respiration. Motor: The
motor portion of this nerve initiates reflexes such as swallowing and gagging, as
well as salivation. Protocol To test the sensory portion of this nerve, one can
perform a taste test for bitter and sour substances, similar to the test described above
for the facial nerve. However, the posterior third of the tongue is the key area

Lockheed Martin Research Paper
I chose the Lockheed Martin Company because of how their planes and technology
have furthered the innovation within the aviation world. Many of their planes have
been used to break records or have broken records themselves. They have also built
planes that were necessary in a few wars. The Lockheed Martin company was started
in 1995 but originally it consisted of two separate companies. These companies were
the Glen L. Martin Company and the LockheedAircraft Company. These two
companies created several important innovations that have shaped how aviation and
aeronautics are thought about. Martin flew the first plane he made in 1909. The
plane was built inside of a church that he rented. The Lockheed brothers Allan Haines

The Negative Effects Of The Media
The media, as you may know, is something everyone is aware of. It is everywhere
you look... In magazines, newspaper articles, television, the internet, billboard ads
and much more. Some find it a useful way to find out what s going on in the world
or what significant events are on, others might just use it as a source of
entertainment, but often people can be affected by the media in a negative way.
This is the topic I am going to cover, how the media can affect people in a negative
way, the main one that I m going to cover is body image. But to be fair the media
can also have positive effects on people s well beings. For example, it can
influence people to donate to organizations to help, animals and people in need.
Also, a lot of commercials and billboards advertise helplines for victims of bullying
which in the long run can prevent many things. Some of these advertisements
encourage us to feel that if we try hard enough, we can make a difference to the
world. But as I mentioned before the media can have a major negative impact on
people s body image, most of these ads and commercials seem harmless, right? But
actually they are one of the main reasons that people don t feel comfortable in their
own skin, this especially amongst young females. Statistics show that in New
Zealand alone 52% of females are dissatisfied with their own bodies. Why are these
major companies and business using size 6/8 models, and why is it that we allow
them to be setting the standard in our

Relapse Prevention Strategies
Hello Zanib,
I am very sorry to hear about your daughter health condition. I do hope all is well
with her now.
As you mentioned in your post, a serious drug problem is Cocaine and prescription
medication. Yes , I agree that these are very serious issues. Consequently, some
people abuse drugs to cope with real life problems such as pain, stress, anxiety or
depression, but unfortunately, without realizing it, they are only worsening their
already existing problems. Recovery from drug addiction is a trying process that most
times involves setbacks. In addition, relapse doesn t does not mean that the treatment
has failed or that sobriety is a lost cause. It might just be a signal for the individuals

but also enough to provoke envy in the Angels. (4.) In stanza 5, the speaker says
that their love was stronger was stronger than the older and wiser than they. This
being to such a degree, that he feels nothing can dissever his soul from her s . (5.)
He fancies the fact that Angels are jealous of his relationship with Annabel. He also

Conclusion
After viewing the trials of drops, multiple flaws were highlighted in many designs of
the lab participants. One flaw that could have been improved on was more even
distribution of straws surrounding the egg compartment, rather than overbuilding on
one side. This could be solved by building symmetrically. Another noticeable flaw
was the reckless flight patterns of designs

Propaganda In The Vietnam War
Propaganda advertises a political issue through the means of humor, speech, and
cartoons, or any other sources found necessary. Bandwagon or peer pressure is
often shown in propaganda. Propaganda is mainly used for politics but can be used
for other topics. By 1918, and the end of of hostilities in the European theater, more
than a hundred Americans had lost their lives. This song talks about the soldiers who
fought in the war that passed in 1918 (Miller). This is effective propagandabecause of
its appeal to emotion (pathos). When we need the lyrics, we could feel the strong
emotion of loss of the American soldiers who fought for us. Take up our quarrel
with the face: To you from failing we throw the torch, be yours to hold it high. Of

The Profession Of Physician Assistants
Family Medicine Physician Assistants Physician assistants are professionals that
practice medicine under the supervision of a physician. The profession was created
in the 1960s because physicians began to notice that there was a shortage of
physicians practicing in primary care. To solve for the shortage of physicians,
Eugene A. Sted Jr.,MD of Duke University gathered four men who had medical
training in the military and created the first class of PAs in 1965.This first physician
assistant class graduated from Duke University on October 6th, 1967 and the
profession had great support from the medical community and the federal government
claiming the PA profession was a creative solution to physician shortages. 1 Today,

The family medicine specialty is unique and different compared to other physician
assistant specialties. Being that family medicine PAs see patients throughout the
duration of their life, they also see patients with a variety of illnesses. The family
medicine specialty can be considered a generalist specialty because they see patients
for all things and not just focusing on one specific specialty which is perhaps why
this specialty is favorable and the most popular specialty within the physician
assistant profession. There are many duties and responsibilities that a physician
assistants job includes. Although physician assistants practice under the supervision
of a physician, PAs and physicians typically see their patients independently of each
other. Because PAs will usually see their patients without a physician in the room,
they are able to write prescriptions for medications to help treat their patients. Aside
from prescribing medicine, PAs are also able to diagnose and treat illnesses, seeing
patients in chronic conditions and managing their progress, ordering lab work when
needed and explaining the results to their patients, conducting physical examinations,
and being able to educate their patients on various

The Inaugural Address of John Kennedy
John Kennedy was one of the most skillful orators among all the presidents of
United States of America. His speeches were always persuasive, motivating and
inspiring. One of his best speeches is Inaugural Address , which he addressed to
Vice President Johnson, Mr. Speaker, Mr. Chief Justice, President Eisenhower, Vice
president Nixon, President Truman, Reverend Clergy, and, of course, his fellow
citizens. His speech was divided into four major parts, and all the parts were highly
inspiring, especially for the ordinary citizens of America. At the beginning of the
speech he talks about the founders of USA, and the great respect to them. After that
Kennedy tells about the progress of the nation in comparison to the past, after that he
ends with couple of pledges. In the third part he tells about the main strategy, the
United Statesshould follow, while taking all the possible options into account.
Kennedy ends the whole speech expressing his confidence in the people of America.
In his Inaugural Address president talks about the things, which are quite
understandable for the people of U.S. Thus, his target audiences are his fellow
citizens . In this speech Kennedy s main purpose is probably to inform the ordinary
citizens of U. S. that they should trust him. He talks about the values, which are
highly rated by all the Americans. In such a way he shows that he also cares about
the same values, thus, persuades people to be open to his words. Psychologically it is

What Are The Four Stages Of Human Development
Introduction Human development is an interesting field. The field of human
development helps people to study about the way people grow and develop. It is an
interesting are to learn about the personality and learning path of different people
(Ryan, 2008). Human Development lifecycle spans from conception to death and
different individuals can have different characteristics in their development. There
are different theories that explain the way human develops. These theories are the
models that provide the reasons for the behavior of people. These theories also help
to predict the future behavior of people. These theories are also useful in medical
profession and as these theories help nurses to treat the patients (Heckhausen, 2010).

about a shy and timid girl names Brat who is homeless and has no family or

named Jane finds Brat sleeping in a farmer s dung heap and decides to take her under

Brat gives herself a real name, Alyce and now knows she does belong somewhere

Success And Success In George Gladwell s The Trouble
With...
I think Gladwell s purpose for writing The Trouble with Geniuses, is to open our
minds to a topic that a lot of us have a major misconception about. Gladwell
presents his ideas with great examples throughout chapters 3 and 4 of the outliers.
His topic is about success and how it is obtained. He talks about a scientist by the
name of Turmin who did an experiment and selected a group of geniuses and watched
their progress and downfalls throughout their lives.
Turmin did not get the results he expected he thought they would be exceptionally
successful in winning the Nobel prize or coming up with major inventions. But that
was not the case, yes some of them did well but then again some of them did not. So
Gladwell brings this experiment to show us that our idea about the connection
between geniuses and success is incorrect, that they are not automatically going to be
successful because there are other factors that either help or prevent geniuses from
being successful.
In my opinion, Gladwell s target audience is all genders from the age group of teens
up till young adults. This book and these chapters specifically are great for those who
just about embrace the world. The book can give them guidance and encouragement
about being successful and how you have to work at things, that being a genius is not
enough and there are some things that are not genetic and you have to acquire them.
An example from the book is
Oppenheimer and Langon both were geniuses but only Oppenheimer was

A Lesson Before Dying And To Kill A Mockingbird
Comparison...
Ernest J. Gaines, the author of A Lesson Before Dying, and Harper Lee, the author
of To Kill A Mockingbird, seem to be identical in their literary work. Both novels
display racism and injustice poisons society because the innocent are destroyed
physically and mentally by the two cruelties. Gaines portrays a story of a young
coloured male, Jefferson, who seeks to become a man full of dignity before he dies
from electrocution. Lee shares a story of a young white woman who accuses a young
coloured male, Tom Robinson, of rape; Tom s lawyer, Atticus Finch, strongly defends
him, but later Tom dies innocent. Throughout both novels, A Lesson Before Dying
and To Kill A Mockingbird, share the theme of racismand injustice. This is evident
through the similarities of characters, specifically Jefferson and Tom Robinson. Also,
the theme is found within person against society conflicts in both novels. And lastly,
the setting of the two books helps determine the theme of racism and injustice.
Firstly, Jefferson and Tom both suffer from prejudice. In A Lesson Before Dying,
the court wrongfully accuses Jefferson of stealing and murdering a white man.
And in To Kill A Mockingbird, the jury unfairly charges Tom for raping a white
woman. The legal system discriminates both innocent men because the legal
system finds the men guilty based on their poor judgments of the men s races. For
instance, Jefferson s defense argues, ... I ask you [the jury], I implore, look
carefully do you see a man sitting here? Look at the shape of this skull, this face as
flat as the palm of my hand look deeply into those eyes. Do you see a modicum of
intelligence? Do you see anyone here who could plan a murder, a robbery... can
plan anything? (Gaines 7). Despite Jefferson s humiliation from his defense, it is
apparent that he is innocent because he has no courage to commit a crime such as
the ones he is charged with. However, the jury is of twelve white men (Gaines 8)
and during the 1940s, the white society feels no sympathy to the coloured society.
Jefferson experiences unfairness from the court because he is a coloured man that
stood in a white man s murder scene. This is also discoverable in To Kill A
Mockingbird, the jury of Tom s trial is of

Pastor Karl at the Whitney Avenue Congregational Church
Pastor Karl at the Whitney Avenue Congregational Church
In this leadership study case we see the 42 year old first time pastor Karl facing a
new organizational culture at 150 year old Whitney Avenue Congregational
Church compared with his previous experience at Community Fellowship church
where he tried to initiate some changes hopping that will make a difference in the
congregation. After a couple of years teaching at a religious school, he went to
seminary and completed all his coursework for Doctorate in Ministry. Now he was
for the first time in a full time position as a pastor. Even he was a pastor for ten
months at Whitney; he was still considered a newcomer by the power holders ,
which were a few old parishioners of the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In the same time he was wondering how to approach elder people from the church
and what steps to take just to be an effective change at Whitney Avenue
Congregational Church. A few of church members had a fear that Pastor Karl will
make more changes than they would like to see changed.
One of the congregational leader Hank, during a conversation with the 40 years old
parishioner Tim, explained how important is for them to keep the church open at
any cost for older parishioners and the only thing that kept them opened was the
desire and willing to help others, to be loving and supportive. Years ago, Whitney
Church was filled with 500 worshipers each Sunday, now Karl noticed that in good
Sunday 40 people attended and most of them were elder.
Even if he found resistance to his initiatives from the elder members, and growing
pressure to increase the number of the church members, his faith in God kept him
motivated to start doing what he had in mind such as a contemporary worship style,
good childcare for young families, and an evangelical outreach to the community.

Dehumanization In Education
Dehumanization is thought to be done by bad men that appear in movies and in the
distant past. It seems as a figment of imagination that nobody must face anymore
because people are so obviously above being slowly changed into anything less than
human. Little do they know, that this little dream that seems so far is, in fact, right
on their doorsteps and has dug its way into their most intimate part of their lives, their
childhood. Education, a simple way to spend 17 years, is a machine that cranks out
people that have been so dehumanized that they don t even realize it happened. While
there are various aspects that help create the dehumanization, the largest tool is
grades. Placing numbers upon young children to assign them value, to have them
begin to assign their self value to them, to use them to show the amount of success,
all strip people of the human factor of curiosity. Why question when it won t be on
the test, quiz, exam, etc. is what all students quickly learn to not worry about as they
only need the high marks to be happy. Little do they know; a pass fail system could
show them how question to the world and how to genuinely learn. It would rely not
on the students memorizing facts, but truly understanding that while they ll never
understand the ever changing reality of their world, they can keep learning in their
attempt to.
Education was not made to teach children how to learn, no it was made to have the
students memorize facts and recite them back at a later date. This type of education
could be called narrative education . There is no conversation between the student
and teacher rather, it involves a narrating Subject (the teacher) and patient, listening
objects (the students) (240). The teacher just talks of the information they deem
important and the students don t question it. Instead, they quietly listen while
frantically trying to write down all they need in order to understand. However, by
making learning a flat experience words are emptied of their concreteness and
become a hollow, alienated, and alienating verbosity (240). They lose their meaning
because there is no point to understanding them, when comprehension isn t needed to
pass a test. When all a teacher does is narrate

Summary Of The Banking Concept Of Education By Paulo
Freire
Paulo Freire is an author who poses questions and arguments that challenge
everything that his readers think and know. The Banking Concept of Education from
Pedagogy of the Oppressed poses the question about the education system and how
teachers are narrators and students are recorders. In his essay he discusses how the
students who he refers to as containers receive their information from teachers.
However, the teachers never communicate with their subordinates. The idea of
banking suggests that students are only receiving, memorizing and receiving facts
from the depositor which made the students depositories. The main ideas drawn from
this article are related to education, knowledge and communication.
