purposes other than survival for the first time. Starting in the second century AD,
and ending in the fourteenth, the development and change experienced within in
Eurasia was significant. The Silk Road allowed for not only silk, but also ideas for
improving societies, religion, and nations to spread and develop. All of this is

Hypothesis:
Osmosis is the movement of water across the membrane from an area of high
concentration to an area of low concentration. The osmosis continues until the solute
concentrations are equal in both areas. In this experiment, we put pieces of potatoes
into test tubes with sugar solutions of different concentrations and leave them there
over night. It was done in order to compare the initial mass of the pieces and the ones

From this we can conclude that measuring mass gives more logical and accurate
results than measuring length. It is so because a balance measures more precisely
than a human eye using a ruler, which also doesn t even take into account if there is a
widening in the potato pieces.

by using a more precise beaker. Finally, repeating the experiment several times would

Thanks to this experiment, we are able to answer our research question. The solute
concentration of a potato is 0.47 mol/l. Also, we can deduce that the method of
measuring the mass gives more accurate results than the method of measuring the

Throughout their lives autistic children avoid eye contact and are unaware of other
people s feelings. They are unable to make friends and do not learn to play with other
children. They often prefer social isolation.
Many autistic children have some sort of language disorder and this will often be
another presenting complaint to the doctor from the parents. Some children are mute
and understand little; others speak late and produce unintelligible sentences with no
desire to communicate. These children often memorize television commercials and
recite them with perfect imitation of the tone of voice and the rhythm of the speaker
they are imitating. Although these children are unable to verbally communicate, they
also rarely use gestures or imitate actions to communicate. They often will retrieve
things and try to do things for themselves rather than try and ask for them.
Autistic children need routines and any deviation from routine severely upsets them.
Repetitive movements such as rocking, humming and flapping hands is characteristic
behavior. As these children become older, they may spend weeks to months learning
about one specific topic.
The intelligence range of autistic children varies from profound mental deficiency to
