NADP, A unit of Munitions India Limited, A Govt. of India Enterprise, Ministry of Defence is the premier central training Institute, with the mandate to impart both induction and in-service training to IOFS and IOFHS officers.
Set up as Ordnance Factories Staff College (OFSC) in the year 1978 for providing institutionalized training to the fresh entrants and in-service Officers of Indian Ordnance Factories Service; it was rechristened as National Academy of Defence Production (NADP) in the year 2003.

• Indore, May 14, 2024 - National Academy of Development and Progress
(NADP) has launched its PGDM student immersion program at the
prestigious Indian Institute of Management, Indore (IIM-I). The program
began with an inaugural session held on May 14, 2024 as part of mentoring
by IIMI.
•Dr. Saumya Ranjan Dash, Professor and Dean of Research at IIM-I,
warmly welcomed the students and provided them with an insight into the
rich history of the institution and their commitment to environmental
sustainability, as campus seamlessly integrates into its surroundings,
maintaining a delicate balance with nature. He reiterated support to NADP
to build it to a centre for excellence in Defence Management.

•The NADP students are engaged in a comprehensive schedule, including
sessions on Assessing and Creating Customer Value, Value Stream
Mapping, Managing Self and Others, B2B Sales and Customer
Management, Supply Chain Management, Optimization and Business
Decision Making, Literature Review and Hypothesis Development,
Entrepreneur Essentials and Design Thinking, Business Negotiation,
Theory of Constraints, and Competing through Capability.
•All sessions have been tailored to meet current corporate requirements.
Students have been granted access to the IIM-I Learning Center (Library).
The accommodation, comfortable amenities, and the stimulating
environment provided by IIM-I have made the program engaging and
invigorating.
•Dr. J.P. Dash, Chief General Manager at NADP, expressed his excitement

Shruti Tewari, Rohit Kapoor, Vikas Goyal, Harshal Lowalekar, D. L.
Sunder, Sanjay C. Choudhari, Nishit Kumar Sinha, Srinivas Gunta, and
Amit Kumar Vasta are leading the sessions, providing invaluable insights
and expertise.

•The program is being coordinated by Ms. Jayshree Verma, the IIM-I
coordinator, who has efficiently managed all aspects of the program,
including accommodation and other facilities. Faculty and TPO from

observer.
