Suggested Actions by FSSAI on Food Advertising Objectively Define “misleading and “deceptive” advertisements” to make swift decisions Adopt a regulatory definition of “HFSS ” from Draft Notification Sept 22, NIN’s Dietary Guidelines are supportive. Include thresholds of nutrients of concern in the regulation to harmonize w ith Consumer Protection Act 2019. Adopt FOPL Regulation at the earliest.
