What is progress reporting? The regular documentation of advancements, achievements, and challenges in the planning, implementation, and MEL, with the aim of providing insights for continuous improvement. Draws information from monitoring, evaluation, and learning activities, and typically results in a written report. While progress reports are outputs of the MEL system, the reporting process itself can serve as a flexible ‘learn by doing’ approach to developing, implementing, and improving the MEL system.
