6. GANDHI JAYANTI Mahatma Gandhi’s full name is Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. He is also known as the Father of the Nation. His birthday is on 2 nd october and it is celebrated as Gandhi Jayanthi .

16. It is a tri colour flag. Saffron stands for Sacrifice White stands for peace and purity Green stands for prosperity Ashoka chakra is in the middle of the flag. It is in blue colour. There are 24 spokes in the Ashoka chakra. It inspire Indians to work tirelessly for 24 hours.
