2. NATIONAL SOCIAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAMME IN ORDER TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO THE AGED PERSON, NEXT EARNING MEMBER OF A BEREAVED FAMILY AND TO THE PREGNANT MOTHERS FOR PROVIDING NUTRITION ,WHO BELONG TO THE BPL CATEGORY, NSAP HAS COME INTO FORCE. NSAP HAS BEEN STARTED FROM 15.08.1995 2

5. ELIGIBLE CRITERIA - AGE: BPL persons of age 60-79 years (excluding BPL widows and BPL persons with sever or multiple disabilities ) BPL persons of 80 years or above BPL BOTH MALE AND FEMALE ;MUST NOT GET PENSION FROM ANY OTHER SCHEME

6. BENEFITS OF THE SCHEME PENSION PER MONTH RS.400/-for 60 TO 79 YRS OF AGE & RS.1000/- FOR 80 AND ABOVE YRS. PENSION IS DISBURSED THROUGH BANK A/C OF NATIONALISED BANK OR POST OFFICE A/C

Panchayat Samiti prepares the list of BPL persons age 60 and above from RHS data GP approves the list at Gram Sansad level and send the UNIVERSAL COVERAGE certificate to the Panchayat Samiti Panchayat Samiti sends this list along with the a/c no. of the beneficiary to the Panchayat & RD Dept of WB At State level, Panch & RD Dept. will incorporate the data in SEBA software and publish the list in website SELECTION OF BENEFICIARY

8. In December month of every year annual verification of beneficiaries will be done Corrected list will be prepared after eliminating the dead and not recommended SELECTION OF BENEFICIARY

9. GP will select the legal heir If the amount Rs 500/- or more , pension will be disbursed through a/c payee cheque to the legal heir For dead beneficiary, Legal heir will get the arrear amount of pension

10. Indira gandhi national widow pension scheme [ ignwps ]

11. ELIGIBLE CRITERIA - Widow age b/w 40 to 79 years or above Female member of BPL family MUST NOT GET PENSION FROM ANY OTHER SCHEME

12. Panchayat Samiti prepares the list of female members of BPL families age b/w 40 to 59 yrs from RHS data GP will prepare the list of widows from this list GP prepare and send the UNIVERSAL COVERAGE certificate to the Panchayat Samiti on the basis of enquiry 12 SELECTION OF BENEFICIARY Panchayat Samiti sends this list along with the a/c no. of the beneficiary to the Panchayat & RD Dept of WB At State level, Panch & RD Dept. will incorporate the data in SEBA software and publish the list in website

14. Doccuments SHOULD BE SUBMITTED ALONG WITH THE APPLICATION Death registration certificate of the applicant’s husband Photocopy of documents of bank or post office a/c Applicant’s passport picture age prove certificate

15. Pension Rs.600/- per month PENSION IS DISBURSED THROUGH BANK A/C OF NATIONALISED BANK OR POST OFFICE A/C BENEFITS OF THE SCHEME No pension should be given after remarriage. After attaining the age of 60 widow beneficiary will get IGNOAPS pension.

16. Indira gandhi national disability pension schemes [ igndps ]

17. Member of BPL family Handicapped person ,age b/w 18 to 79 yrs Severe disability(80% and above) or multifarious disability ( total 80% and above) MUST NOT GET PENSION FROM ANY OTHER SCHEME ELIGIBLE CRITERIA - -

18. Panchayat Samiti prepares the list of members of BPL families age b/w 18 to 59 yrs from RHS data and sent to the Gram Panchayat GP will prepare the list of Handicapped persons from this list and collect the applications GP prepare and send the UNIVERSAL COVERAGE certificate to the Panchayat Samiti on the basis of enquiry SELECTION OF BENEFICIARY At State level, Panch & RD Dept. will incorporate the data in SEBA software and publish the list in website Panchayat Samiti sends this list along with the a/c no. of the beneficiary to the Panchayat & RD Dept of WB

20. Attested photocopy of Disability certificate from Social Welfare Deptt. Or, Certificate of mental or physical disability issued by medical board under the supervision of CMOH. Attested photocopy of Bank or Post Office pass book Applicant’s passport picture age prove certificate Doccuments SHOULD BE SUBMITTED ALONG WITH THE APPLICATION

21. Pension Rs.600/- per month PENSION IS DISBURSED THROUGH BANK A/C OF NATIONALISED BANK OR POST OFFICE A/C BENEFITS OF THE SCHEME A/C should be the name of the beneficiary , in special case joint a/c along with the person with blood relation. After attaining the age of 60 beneficiary will get IGNOAPS pension.

22. National family benefit scheme [ nfBs ]

23. Death of principal earning member of a BPL family (“primary bread winner”) Age of Principal Earning Member should be b/w 18 yrs to less than 60 yrs. Principal Earning Member may be male or female MUST NOT GET PENSION FROM ANY OTHER SCHEME ELIGIBLE CRITERIA -

24. Benefits of the scheme: Rs 40,000/- per family Death due to Normal Accidental Death No help for suicidal Death On the basis of the recommendation and enquiry report received from the Gram Panchayat , Sishu-Nari Unnayan Jana Kalyan O Tran Sthayee Samiti will approve the application

25. Certificate of Death Registration Report of post mortem for unnatural death RHS id in BPL List age prove certificate Documents SHOULD BE SUBMITTED ALONG WITH THE APPLICATION
