Secondary education (ix-xii)is an important subsector of the
entire education system.
−It provides middle level workers for economy of the country .
−It acts as a feeder for further level of education .
−Quality of higher education depends upon the quality of
secondary education to produce high quality of professionals
in different fields. So it should prepare the youth of the
country for the pursuit of higher education.
