Established on 9 March 2015 by GoI in collaboration
with LSTM, UK and the Maternal Health Division,
MOHFW
Established to upgrade the skills of health care providers
such as ANMs/LHVs/SNs/ MOs/nursing supervisors and
faculty/ obstetricians working at delivery points.
Serves as a prototype demonstration and learning facility.
Focuses on competency based training.
Repetitive skills practice, simulation of clinical scenarios
and training under the supervision of qualified trainers.
Training imparted on Ante Natal Care (ANC), Intra Natal
Care, Post Natal Care, newborn care, family planning,
infection prevention, management of complications,
